Considering my hatred for amnesia plots (which delayed me watching this drama earlier), the storyline was actually really well done and I adore the relationship between the leads. Although at one point, I went “Wow, what an UNHINGED couple!” Enemies to lovers trope was super serious in the start but mellowed fairly quickly.
My only criticism is that the villains were super easy to guess.
We needed one more episode for this drama to be perfectly ended! Moon Do Hyeok needed to be taken down as her final X. Unfortunately, we don’t always have perfect endings. If Kim Yoo Jung doesn’t win awards for this role, there is no justice!
I thought this was gonna be more Count of Monte Cristo-esque but it’s shaping up to look like a Squid Game? I’m intrigued. Also, as a DO fan, I hate this character but I really still adore him 😂
Count of Monte Cristo vibes, my EXO bias AND one of my favorite kdrama actors? INJECT IT INTO MY VEINS! This is the first kdrama I’ve seen in years that excites me.
On that note, I’m totally with her on not understanding what Zhuang Xu meant because I did not get that meaning at all from that conversation. 🤨
All I remember from that scene just being super annoyed at Zhuang Xu for making that poor girl walk so far in those high heels.
