ok I have a serious case of empathy for Third - portrayed masterly by Gun. So much so, that the heartache wrecked me the first time around (which is probably how I missed some of the flaws this drama has) - I am delaying my rewatch bc I am afraid it will not give me the same delicious suffering again.
I wasn't going to watch it - as I am not much for 2nd season relationship rollercoasters, but I ended up starting it just for GunMew's chemistry. A lot of what ppl say is right: the writing for this ss is unrealistic, as far as character developement is concerned this might just be 1 month after SS1, but I didn't mind that so much. In fact it made it better for me as I really like the power dynamic they have (sue me). SS1 will remain unparalled of course, but I enjoyed SS2. There are better Thai second seasons, but I got what I wanted out of it: lots and lots and looooots of skinship. And in the end: Mild as P'No is still the master of hilarious facial expressions.
I agree with you :) Yes, they are very handsome, yes, they have chemistry, yes, it's slow burn, yes, the rocket plushee was very metaphorical, but was it a good plot? honestly? no. It stretches paper-thin over 32 eps. They make it out like the gameplay thing is really imporant (spending a good third of the series on it) and then they drop it like a hot potatoe (not that I mind) but honestly I was skip watching the last 8 eps or so: one looooong HEA. It just didn't deliver for me. There are much better C-slow burn dramas out there.
ep 12: ⏩ ... ⏩ ... ⏩ ... ⏩ ... naked scene with YZT .... ⏩ ah it was just a dream ... ⏩ ... ⏩ ... ⏩ ... random scenic HEA & obligatory tearing up of the single rule ⏩... ⏩ ... sudden bed scene (really?? I mean that was just too abrupt!) ⏩ ... ⏩ ... ⏩ side couple gets engaged in the least romantic proposal I have ever seen (awww cute, scenes in the coffee shop always distract me because I wonder how he has not gone bankrupt- there are never any customers) ⏩ ... ⏩ ... ⏩ ... THE END ⏩... ⏩ .... omg another ep?
According to World of BL.com there are now 13 episodes!!!
We‘ve had like 4 eps of nothing-happening now... have they decided to prolong my suffering? Or do we believe the screenwriter has suddenly become inspired and remembered that they are supposed to be producing a BL? because I‘ve seen sadly little ‚L‘ ...
no literally bc the cliffhanger had me SO excited just for us to get barely any jin yu zhen & shi lei time😑
Agreed. And they don‘t even talk about the fact that he threw him on the bed?! It‘s all in a day‘s business for them? Really, it‘s too casually written...
Dear screenwriter, I can forgive (and possibly celebrate) just about every cringe this show gives me, but not the careless way you resolve your cliffhangers! Really, in the last couple of episode our leads make no progress whatsoever, and you choose to finally give them some tension but you make it dissipate within 5secs of the next episode. whyyyyyyy? do you not love us?
the cinematography and OST have me on my knees. I am downgrading to 9.5 stars because with that much sexual tension to end on a hug is a sacrilege. What a waste T_T
So the whole controversy about student-teacher relationships: was so much hot air. Teacher-student stories usually have something furtive and forbidden or a power imbalance, but here: the fact that he is a professor has no impact on the story, he might aswell be the gardener. I dare you to call this anything but wholesome.
I was in a bad mood today and none of the high-budget, top-rated dramas could cheer me up. But 2 eps of this drama and I am all smiles again. Sometimes it really just needs a cute BL with a somewhat ridiculous plot to make you laugh and have a good time.
I was looking forward to the cast and supernatural plot, but this is like les misérables --- everybody is depressed (even god seems a bit down) and I can't understand anybody's motivations at all. 2 eps in and nothing has happened - is it worth continuing?
I really enjoy Strongberry productions :D

XD seriously, 50% of his dialogue is repeating that one line - why?
