Whist I appreciated they tried to do something different, it just didn't make sense to me, and it was a bit of a meh. The running sub plot that became unbelievable, the obligatory whining spoilt girl, which I have never met in my longish life unless they are under twelve, and the ex to cause trouble, just why?
I could go on about the biggest fantasy of the plot but, I won't.
They get points for at least three female characters who are not depicted as unhinged.

Title Night Dream Spoiler
Not the worst i have watched but basically if you cut out most of the middle eps they would not be missed because…
If you have a family with a golden child, its very hard on the other children and from the golden child POV it takes a certain level of maturity to understand that you are favoured, because to you perhaps think you are being treated a like and parents reasoning persuasive.
Its hard for anyone often to live up to their parents expectations, if you have a golden child above you must feel like your in an abyss.

My main problem with it is it's not until the last two eps that you understand why the ML is so conflicted, and his reactions are pretty understandable.

What My Stubborn lacked in plot and direction, it made up for in hotness.
Yep, its about the only target it hit.
I will forgive it more because it was obviously made on a much smaller budget.

what plot actually need:- more clue about reset, how is he going find who killed him, more clues about killer,…
I am talking about Pond the actor playing Armin at about 40 yrs old at the start, compared to Tada at possibly the same age, he looks the same in both timelines.
The older Armin is a very different person.

Yep. What is the age gap in both timelines? If Tada is having a glimpse of the future, how do we know his motives then, did they change over 20yrs?
Or the simple reason is they didn't age Tada up very well in the initial timeline and Pond is a much better actor.

I agree, that main plot line is lost, also when you think of Tada's flash backs, how old was he then, and why was he there, and how old does that make him in the present timeline?

Less of the plot, more of a photo shoot. Very pretty but not a lot of content. Also exposes plot hole.

The writing, what there was, has fallen off the cliff. It has now become a collection of scenes with no clear narrative. They need new writers who write a plot that makes some sort of sense, and perhaps someone who can actually write dialogue. The actors are just left with nothing to works with.
It makes My Stubborn look competent, unfortunately..
There are enough body swap genres that have been well done that they could have 'borrowed' from.
The actor I feel most sorry for is Earth, a chance to break out of the 'good boy' box, totally wasted, with again no clear plot line, and Nat wanders off after him
On The Ex-Morning Jul 24, 2025
There was a lot to like but it was like they were filling time at the end with extra plot elements which seemed to be thrown in. Both ML's are such good actors, its just a shame to script did not hold up to the end. They need a really good rom com.

Watched the first two eps last night, I do not think it was that gory. I like the fact the story moves along.

I haven't heard the expression 'a curate's egg' in a long time! But then I haven't lived at home (England) for…
I always used it, but never knew where it came from. Eating around something to find the' good@#' bits, which I think sums this up perfectly.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curate%27s_egg

This was a complete mess, it was like there was two different writers or it was a case of pot luck pick a 'scene' for the day and make it up as you go a along.
I ended up giving it a higher mark because when bits worked they worked surprising well and the ML's did a good job. I still think it could have been better as a straight up sex comedy, and most of the rest of the cast seemed to be as if they had been plonked in for fillers, and it was pretty cringe.
A bit of a curate's egg.

I liked this a lot, I probably missed a lot the jokes because Chinese historical drama isn't really my thing, usually too much bad dubbing and acting. This is very well acted, the ML is a great comic foil, and can do a pained face like no other, and it's great to see a female lead who is not a simpering victim, there are a few in real life, but they are not as common as in most dramas.
The production values, music and the idea of the story telling, that people have many sides was great.
I will own up I am not a 40ep drama lover, because then tend to go things needlessly to fill time, and this got a but stagnant for me. I liked the ending, which implied an even more complicated event.

In the end I give it 9, not only for the good parts but leaving out the whole toxic mess that seems to be repeated in most romance dramas, and the nasty characters they have to put in them. Honestly the majority of life is not like this.
I like the older couple as well because a lot of mature relationships are like this, a compromise where neither loses anything, and being bemused when your partner is predictable one minute and completely surprising later.

Thank you!
As a whole I enjoyed it, I just wish they had the courage to play it full camp, and not try for any sort of realism. More Confessions of a Window Cleaner.
I had to look it up, it only gets 4.8 on IMdb, cost £150k and made £1,265,954 gross. There is money in providing a 'full service'. with a bit of fun.

You know what the best part about googling flatiron was? The AI generated response that explained it came from…
That is hilarious. The one I googled came up with cartoon pictures. Couldn't work out what 'implement' they were describing but its seems and odd choice for the description. Perhaps I need better pictures.
