The best actors/comedians who use camp humour are often very good actors, they know how to deliver a line because camp humour is very sharp and often uses sarcasm, the person delivering the line is often also a poking fun at themselves as well commentating on the situation.They need to be able to adjust the tone, so when there is a serious line it's weighted properly. It was used in serious theatre because gay actors could express their non conformist personalty on and off stage. Roland Harwoods The Dresser the film and and play perhaps gives an insight how the stage attracted non conformists.
If you want an example of a classically trained actor/ comedian playing camp look at Maggie Smith and Kenneth Williams on Youtube. In Downton Abbey Maggie Smith is often delivering camp humour lines, its just not as obvious, in comes across as snobby English. Her one liners are typical Kenneth Williams asides.
I would recommend watching two gay very experienced actors playing camp to the max in Vicious, its on Netflix and some of the out takes are on Youtube.

I do not think its the actors fault, it's the script that has become mess and to cover the cracks so the character has become a caricature.
To be fair it would have to be a very good writer or someone to has a lot of experience to sustain the writing in that for the amount of episodes with a complicated plot, and some parts are just filler.IMO

Not really impressed any more. I loved the camp humour at the start, and it made sense because if you have ever been on opioids or had a dream which seems real but you know its a dream, you never take anything seriously, you have some detachment. You wake up and think that was scary or fun, and that's about it.
I now can not decide if it wants to be camp or serious, and Nut has such range he can do both but the script makes the character he is playing superficial and at times a bit unfeeling, he is living this life but not really treating people and choices seriously, which make me think are we supposed to feel anything for the characters.
Having watched Dream within a Dream, the humour and wanting to changed the reality you at in a present was more consistent in its execution of character development.

Shout out for the actress that play Pin, whether you agree or not with her actions she manages to make her not a caricature in eps 9 and 10. The deal for the women at that time was a good one, but she can not see the reality, she is in love with the idea of the perfect marriage and what seems like the perfect man.

I am judging what I watched, and my comments are about the drama.

Win may be lovely, but it doesn't stop his actions in the drama what ever his intentions at least being misguided and at worst self serving.
Team never asks initiates sexual contact and when he eventually decides to try and be in control he questions Win about their relationship. He actually says 'your good to everyone', in other words he is left in limbo not knowing for most of their relationship if he was just a sex partner.
Team is naive, straight forward and in the relationship dynamic easily manipulated, he is made by Win dependant. He actually asks him not to leave while he is mentally unwell.
In a real life sports club situation their relationship would be seen as inappropriate. I know this from experience.
It's a drama so they use dramatic licence but really its not a good example of any relationship.

Win is part of the swim team management, a mentor therefore is a a position of trust and responsibility and if you know about abuse of power in sports training its a big red flag. I do think its unrealistic that the training squad seems to have no adult supervision by a paid coach/teacher.
Win is attracted to Team, and 'helps him out', who benefit is this for? Most men are quite capable of satisfying themselves,The fact he asks him all those questions before show he is aware of the that this is could be interpenetrated as abuse. Win's team mates are also aware this is a problem, although they do not really spell it out. If Team decided to complain he would have bean in trouble.
The fact he keeps being nice to Team means not only sexually is he a weak position but it;s even harder to say no or even ask for any clarity in the situation.
Team is never seen as an equal in the relationship.
All I can say is I worked with older teenagers and this the sort of situation that any team coach/teacher would be flagging as a problem and possible bullying. The dragging him to the toilet could be seen as aggressive.
I do not think anyone’s MH health problems are an excuse for taking advantage of someone less experienced nativity, especially when the person taking advantage is far more sexually experienced.

Your right there is nothing wrong with dating or marrying someone older, I have a friend who married to someone twenty years older than her, and my sisters husband is ten years older than her.
If you go on dating apps now and men want to date younger women and women like tall men with money. The men want a blank page who looks good, and I have heard this first hand.
The stats in China are less people are getting married and the birth rate is falling. I do not think modern dramas are addressing the reality of life.
Money issues about marriage are also an issue, there enough Chinese reality programmes that tackle this issue and articles that support this.
The worst one I have seen is when two brides turned up to marry the same man over an argument over the bride price, and the original bride who had ditched the groom for money being pregnant another man's baby.
I married at twenty one and neither of us had money, the idea was you worked together to make a life. I think its easy for a man to feel flattered by a younger women, looking at my friends at least two their husbands have left their wives when they have small children, for someone younger with no children. Unfortunately there is a pattern.

I watched this about two years ago, and recently there has been a spate of supernatural dramas, but this one is literally haunting.
It describes so well how the dead emotionally never leave us, but as they have changed we eventually change perfectly.

I think this symptomatic of all politicians , they over promise, and then have to butcher policies to fit the budget, and the end result is no one trusts them.
We had a new government in power last year, same broken promises, just different suits.

We watched all three seasons as a couple, so this is mine and my husbands take.
This reminds me of the drama Lost, you start of caring about the characters, and they pull you in a world where even if there no explanation of the how and why, and they run out of ideas and end up with making more convoluted tricks and then you stop caring as it loses the original authenticity that made you care in the first place.
Once you have got over seeing one person killed unless you care or identify with them it means nothing. The end of the last episode was complete garbage, in fact act the whole episode was literally senseless.
I do not know if they had a bigger budget but what ever they spent most of it was wasted, sometimes less is more, and the more should have been spent on a more well thought out script. Just a shame.

Started with a bang, ended like an almost empty balloon getting rid of its last puff of air.
Nothing wrong with the leads and what ever they were paid they deserve more, without them it would have been a real dud.
It was mainly a cooking show and the plot, what there was was made to hang the cooking on, so all the very experienced actors must have looked at the script and gone WTF, but its a job.
The plot really being kind was disjointed, but what plot and why? The end made no sense at all. Just meh. My marks are mainly for the first two eps.

I know its been really successful but I am praying we do not get more of these hybrid cooking shows, which are neither fish nor fowl.

I think it can apply to just about any politician and some professions like doctors. They almost need blind faith in a their ability and usually they have spent most of their life being told how clever and outstanding they are, by family and groupies.

I think something has feeding him the line that his wife is not rational or capable, and because it makes him feel better about himself he choses to believe it.
In my own husbands family the women try and twist the narrative of why things happen, and when you are at work the most seductive bully couches everything hidden in doing the best for people for their own objectives.

I wonder if he one of those characters that is so looking at the bigger picture, has a bit of a Jesus complex, that he completely absolves or ignores the reality of a situation.
You see this in real politics, they make the biggest gaffs because its easier to believe what they ate told than lift a rock and find out the truth which may be uncomfortable.
I think he just believes his own press, and it has just dawned of him who was protecting who.

It has pacing problems with the story and really at its heart glamorises a relationship where the older lead abuses his power when he understands and told the implications, and manipulates the younger leads dependence. We are never really told why he needs to do this.
