this drama is what happens when you force a relationship. yk sometimes when we start a cdrama we wish that the couple gets together asap, but at that point the relationship is still underdeveloped - in the case of this drama they actually get together (and marry) at an early point where it's still just a one sided love... I will never again complain against slow-burn romance :D

She's not his biological sister, but they were together in the same orphanage :) And FL and SML didn't break up because of ML. The monologues of each character explained how they ended up like that over a long period of time. It wasn't just one thing but it boils down to Guan Xin "secret" identity. He couldn't fully be himself around her as he kept up a façade, and although he tried to build a new life with her, he was the one who kept seeking out Lu Xi and his past. FL only got together with ML a year after having broken up with SML.
TBH I think SML's identity would not have been an issue for FL but he was ashamed of that part of himself (due to the guilty feelings towards Lu Xi). The car monologue near the end made me finally understand him and also why they didn't work out.
Take it with a grain of salt but four days ago IQIYI Philippines reposted the trailer to their Facebook page, which could mean something. In addition it’s now listed as having 33 episodes on IQIYI. Previously it was reported to have only 24 and then 32 episodes. So maybe things are slowly moving forward? - if anything I guess it will airdrop with no promotion.

It’s about a theatre group and a famous idol actor as well as the entertainment industry. In the Theatre group there is an older couple & their adult daughter is the FL. So far no romance but they teasers definitely hinted at it so we‘ll have to wait and see.
