it was really good for the first 28 episodes. i really enjoyed it. - qiu yan can be annoying bc she puts everyone at risk bc of her impulsiveness and stubbornness smh but i guess nobody's perfect and she was just muddleheaded bc she didn't think it over. - jeremy jones was just awesome at his role! he carried the show i stan - qiu min was so annoying lol, i do not understand how she went from letting jiang yun almost kill her sister to actually sacrificing for her sister??? - the change in yuan lang's acting near the end was just creepy. this man went from straight up "idc ill do anything to ruin u" to "oh yes I will listen to u on everything" uHHhHM... - ending was dumb. qiu yan didn't have to say that, liang yis mom really?? -___- - author should've just chilled out with the plot twists. too much was going on, they thought having a bunch of plot twists was clever but actually it just killed the value. - overall 8/10 tho

I agree!! The first half was light but an easy hook. The second half was so good that I didn't mind the stray away from romance. I am a sucker for romance centered dramas but when the plot gets interesting enough I can put it off. I just don't get the lower ratings.

lol i totally feel you. i was so bored up until ep 5 but i kept pushing through bc my friend said its a rly good drama. once you get past ep 5 it should get a lot better! it's actually a really good, well written, complicated drama but it takes a while to build up
Loved everyone's acting. Show was good until ep 31. 31-40 felt too rushed compared to the beginning of the series. It was like the director tried to hide everything from us in the first 30 episodes and then tried to reveal + slam everything together into the last 9 eps. I'll give it a solid 8/10.

On ep 4 rn... such a good looking cast, I've never watched Yiyang before but she is really good at acting and also very pretty. Looking forward to her next drama! Everyone has their own life story, background, life difficulties, and adversaries. I’m glad that you support her because you were moved by her. I just wanted to repeat that I am not an anti fan of her and I did not hate on her. I still look forward to watching her act.

I agree that a 40 year old can have an immature mindset but I believe most people have some sort of immaturity in them. It’s just how they choose to display it and how often. Anyways, I appreciate both of them and believe they are both hardworking. However, I’ve chosen not to spend further time watching this show (due to many personal life reasons as well that I don’t need to disclose on this site).
