Why are you so offended by my opinion? I just commented what I thought about the show and why I decided it wasn’t worth going further. I used my friends as reference in the deciding factor as well. I didn’t even give the show a bad rating. Have you never dropped a show that was hard to watch at first and then turns out different later? We all have our own choices. I have mines, if it doesn’t align or you don’t like it, you don’t need to question/force someone by discrediting them. Thank you.

Finally finished it... I only like the second leads. Story was okay. Deng Wei carried the show for me

Thank you for this post! Ive always watching these thinking they’re a mix of xianxia and wuxia but not quite. Unfortunately, I ended up dropping most of these as they are not my cup of tea. However, super helpful post!! Now I know which genres to look for haha

Decent thai drama, it's quite refreshing and different from your typical thai lakorn. Romantic scenes are actually limited for a thai drama. Plot is mostly focused on mystery but the mystery dragged out for waaaaay too long to the point where I was getting tired of "who killed pipop and shot pya"

Solid 7.5 for me. This drama is bingeworthy as there is a lot of anticipation and suspense in each episode, but it is soooooo unreasonable... acting is really good though.

I asked my other friends who watched the entire show and they said their interactions get better but they all agree that YCY is immature. Yes, it's a variety show, everyone does need to compromise to some point but the other couples were more mature in comparison.

Unpopular opinion but I find YCY and HMH quite difficult to watch. Unlike liyitong and qin lan, YCY is quite immature. HMH's eyes show that he has to compromise a lot for YCY by giving up his own plans. It really is difficult for me to watch. No hate on Chaoyue, I like her acting from Dance of the Phoenix but her maturity level is not there for me.

Solid 6.5/10 for me. Started off alright but got so boring and draggy.

i partially agree with this, some FLs do fit in a trope but i'd argue that the percentage varies. and it depends on the part of the drama we're referring to. some FLs stay 100% to their trope for the entire drama and that isn't my cup of tea whereas the ones i like are usually 30-80% true to their trope but either change or develop.

I've only watched the first episode but it hooked me right in. that was a solid first episode (can't say this often b/c most pick up the pace by eps 4-5)
