Ahhhh so I just realized director Chen Zhou Fei shot The Forbidden Flower which was a visual masterpiece and Qian Jing Wu worked on Love Between Fairy and Devil. Beyond excited to see what this team has made for us and congrats to Shui Long Yin for toping the datawin charts

First Frost is a bit harrowing with its traumatic elements, but I would say it's a much deeper and realistic portrayal of love and healing. I don't think I've ever been so moved. Make sure you're in the right head space for it to fully appreciate its artistry

You should watch her in The Forbidden Flower. Premise is a bit uncomfortable bc of the age gap but she does an amazing job in that and has hella range. She's definitely toned herself down quite a bit to match this role specifically

That was by far the most satisfying xianxia ending I've ever seen! Almost an entire episode of innuendos and chemistry. Lovee that he threatens her with punishment and she slaps back with are you sure you can handle baby number four hehe

My two absolute favourites paired together? I genuinely cannot wait and hope the script and director do these two gems justice. Very pleased to see them breaking out of the traditional chaste kdrama mold into mature and controversial roles as befitting their experience.

Acting is an art form and a storytelling craft, one that married people are allowed to partake in without restrictions. If that reality doesn’t appeal to you, don’t watch it :)
