I've started Whispers Of Fate and am on ep3 but I'm not enjoying this. Will it continue to be like this or will…
I’m very confused by everyone’s advice here - I found the first four episodes were more set up for world-building and introducing characters, and then the plot really started to take off from episodes 5 and 6. It’s really up to you, but I think it’s getting more intriguing every episode and it stays visually stunning throughout
Anyone who can help, please go rate this on IMDB! It was super high at around 9.2, and then antis / haters planned a coordinated attack to bring it down to 7.2 in one day. If you can, please consider giving it a good review ♥️
Is this drama worth watching? There have been a marathon of dramas lately that have been pretty good and I can’t…
Soooo good. The most visually stunning drama I have ever seen and the plot really starts to pick up around episode 5. The mystery is getting veryyy interesting
wowww, what a sad coordinated hate campaign to bring this from a 8.3 to 7.9 in a few hours. No matter, this project is the top drama right now doing record numbers in China on TV broadcasts and MDL ratings mean absolutely nothing in the face of such success. It’s been received with commendation by the general public
feels like i missed something, is there part one before this or a show to watch before I understand this???
no, the answers will be filled as the episodes progress, it’s meant to be shrouded in mystery. just make sure you’re actually watching from episode 1 lol
Is this an complete wuxia ? Luo Yunxi is really getting old and it's showing up on its face...🙃 The guy used…
you know people can still be drop dead gorgeous at any age right? youth isn’t something to strive for, I personally think I’ve never seen him more handsome than in this drama
I am usually a huge fan of the show not tell kind of storytelling but at this point, this is losing my interest.…
I think this is the kind of drama where much of the motivations and reasons for behaviour won’t make itself clear until the story progresses. It’s enigmatic and shrouded in mystery intentionally.
Yeap noticed it too. At some points it feels like they are saying different things than what we hear (which wouldn't…
I read somewhere that due to censorship, they had to change an entire character’s name and certain words so unfortunately it won’t be perfectly in sync at times :/
is this really zero romance? it feels like a wasted potential when it's so amazing with everything so far. he…
I watch a lot of romance dramas and tbh this is really refreshing to me that it isn’t! It feels way more mysterious and bigger than a love story. There’s actually still a lot of chemistry and tension between ML and supporting leads, so it still scratches that itch in a way
Episode 7 is quite literally one of the most visually breathtaking scenes of television I have EVER seen. I don’t even know how to describe it, the scale and artistry in this show is beyond movies. The plot has started to become quite intricate from episode 5 onwards, so if you’re questioning whether to watch this because you want something more than visuals to enjoy, I absolutely urge you to. Anyone who doesn’t watch this drama is missing out on something one of a kind and never been done before. I’ve never seen a cdrama like this which incorporates elements of sci-fi and the plot is definitely not anything I’ve encountered before. I’m SO intrigued to learn everything about Tang Li Ci, he’s so much more complex than what he appears. I know nothing about the original story so I’m super excited to see it all unfold. All the supporting cast and new characters are stunning and acting incredibly. This is soo beyond my expectations !
