thank you so much for this thoughtful response! it does seem quite dark and heavy, which i actually don’t mind because I enjoy complexity and depth in my dramas. slow pace doesn’t matter so much if there’s a good payoff, so i’m quite intrigued now!

Have there been any updates to Luo’s plans with his old label / company and what his plans moving forward are? I know they’ve been extremely predatory and he’s likely putting any future projects on hold until he’s completely dissolved his involvement with them. I don’t expect to see any new acting projects from him for a while, but I hope he goes with a company in his bests interests, or even create his own agency

On episode 11 right now and I just love how openly mature and adult this drama is ! I adore cdramas but sometimes the PG-ness of it kind of takes you out of any relatability in the storytelling. I’m so pleasantly surprised by this so far

I’m very confused by everyone’s advice here - I found the first four episodes were more set up for world-building and introducing characters, and then the plot really started to take off from episodes 5 and 6. It’s really up to you, but I think it’s getting more intriguing every episode and it stays visually stunning throughout
