Good mornin Edina! Yes I live in a small town near Milan in Italy and we have had good weather so far with nice warm days with sunshine although not as hot as during the summer. Where do you come from?
Yes I generally use torrent to download dramas however recently I have problems in finding them for a few dramas that I wanted to watch which are a little bit older like My Name is Kim Sam soon for example.
I don't have a favourite genre although I do enjoy romcoms and historical dramas a lot. Lately I have found that I enjoy also action dramas like Cruel City and adventure dramas like Nine. I hope you will enjoy The Master's Sun which is really good. Have a nice weekend.

Good morning Edinaa, yes I have watched about 50 Jdramas so far but lately I notice that they are focusing too much on detective/medical type dramas and I am not enjoying them as much as I used to. Generally I prefer to download Jdramas and shortish Kdramas (max 24 episodes) because I might like to keep them on my separate hard disk if I really enjoy them. However lately I have been watching quite a few Kdramas on Gooddrama (streaming) because they were old and I couldn't find them to be downloaded. I am sure you will really enjoy The Master's Sun but beware that SJS plays a totally different role compared to his usual ones.

Incarnation was a little bit strange for the first episodes but it became really convincing in the second half. I heartly recommend Cruel City which I found extraordinary and also Nine...I understand what you mean about I hear your Voice as it is possible that it doesn't match everyone's taste. Sword and Flower is good but it is also quite slow until about episode 10. I hope you get your drama passion back again soon. :)

Hi Bladey, yes I know what you mean as I am quite close to a 'drama slump' myself since I feel I have seen most of the best dramas out there. However, my opinion is that 2013 is a really good year for Korean dramas... as I have enjoyed quite a few so far. The best for me so far is definitely Cruel City, followed by Nine, Incarnation of Money, I Hear your Voice, That Winter the Wind Blows which are those to which I gave the highest ratings. For Jdramas I heartly recommend Tonbi so far and at the moment I am watching Hanzawa Naoki which is having very high ratings in Japan (over 30%!).

Hi Bladey, very well thanks and you? I have been enjoying many cool dramas lately...mostly current ones that are being shown. The year 2013 has been really good so far both for Kdramas and some Jdramas too...what have you been watching recently?
As much as I enjoyed this drama, I couldn't find the plot so original except for the fact that it was about a pastry chef. Yes the acting was really good and it was interesting to see Hyun Bin and Kim Sun Ah at the beginning of their careers who proved their great acting talent. Even though Kim Sam Soon is a strong female character which is pleasant and unusual to find in Korean dramas, I found that her complaining and yelling with her squeaky voice sometimes were a little too much and that the story had many of the typical clichès found in Korean dramas. Nevertheless on the whole I thought it was a pleasant romcom and I was happy to be able to add to my watched dramas list.

You have a nice long journey as yet with Big and I am sure you will enjoy all the episodes. Yes I am absolutely loving Master's Sun (the first Hong sisters drama that I am appreciating) and I am catching up with Kim Sam Soon which was missing from my list. I am enjoying it a lot too although it was a little weird at first to see Hyun Bin and Kim Sun Ah so different from how they are now.

I enjoyed Big too and didn't find it bad at all...what many people are disappointed with is the ending which concerns only the last 10 minutes of the episode. I look forward to hearing what you think about it.

Hi arashi84,
pleased to meet you. I am also a big fan of Arashi by the way!! I am glad you discovered Gong Yoo in Coffee Prince and I hope he will be in a new drama soon. I will be very happy to exchange views with you. :)
I don't know how I managed to finish this drama, probably it was the basic story that got me hooked and helped me to pull through these very heavy 38 overdramatic episodes. This was one of the most exaggerated Korean dramas that I have watched so far...there was too much of everything, too much violence, bullying, slapping, screaming, untold secrets and revenges which made the plot really redundant. It seems that family dramas need to have all this to attract Korean viewers but it is definitely not my cup of tea. Kim Jae Won was the only reason why I managed to survive through it all, and because of his great acting and the only positive character in the whole drama I will rate it 6 otherwise it would have been a 4 for me.
This is a nice drama that leaves the viewer with a positive and warm feeling. The theme of making the right choices in life is really well developed here with a great emphasis on friendship and mutual support. I enjoyed the setting of the country village with the lovely river and bridge. What I like so much about Jdramas is that they always make me want to go and live in these small villages where everyone knows each other and supports each other.

thanks so much for your friend request...I agree with all your 'must haves' for a good drama. I also am a big Coffee Prince lover as you can see from my profile pic. ;)
I also like Nina here below was totally blown away by this drama! The whole plot and how it was developed was pure genius. It was not only the time travelling factor that made it interesting, but most of all how it was developed and how the past and present were connected. I found it really clever and would recommend it to everyone as it has amazing unexpected twists and turns until the second to last episode. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy the last episode as much as it left the viewer with too many questions (I think the writers overdid it there in their effort to keep the plot twisted)and for this reason I can't rate it with a 10 as I would have done for 19 episodes. I will rate it 9 however I consider this as a real masterpiece. Very highily recommended.
