There are two other web dramas where I think seunghyub plays an important role: Love Pub and Must You Go?. Love Pub, he is the owner of a pub and he acts very mysterious but he is actually soo cute and charming I definitely recommend that drama if you are looking for a cute slice of life romance plot, it has multiple romance lines besides Seunghyubs. Finally, in Must You Go? seunghyub plays the SML character who doesn’t get the FL, while the ML is played by SF9 Chani. However, seunghyubs character is extremely complex and I would say this was one of his most emotionally loaded and complex characters with deep writing behind his persona. I think he portrayed this character wonderfully and I would really recommend it.

Also please listen to N.flyings music if you have a chance! Their music is amazing and they are the cutest and most talented band ever I really recommend their music and getting to know them more ^^

i recommend best chicken, he was the MLs brother in this drama and he was a clumsy doctor. besides this he was in the web drama Big Picture House with his bandmate Jaehyun, and jaehyun was the male lead, but seunghyub was cute and the FLs sunbae who she had a crush on. Besides this, I also recommend the webdrama All Boys High; another webdrama with nflying bandmate Jaehyun. This is a really cute high school bromance drama, I definitely recommend it

i finally got to see his musical live in korea... it was literally an amazing life-changing experience!!!!

also how she always pays attention to little details like giving the characters reoccurring catchphrases and quirks. “STOP!” for yoo jasung in monthly magazine home, and “can i give you a piece of advice?” for ML in a poem a day and "go quality" for ML in drinking solo 😭😭😭 god i love her writing so much

i can tell she loves certain tropes like power dynamics romance, haters to lovers, reserved and cold and seemingly rude ML, office setting, secret office dating, lots of comedic side characters with meaningful side stories, case by case plot with different and interesting things to learn every episode. all my favorite tropes i thoroughly enjoyed all her works 😭<33 i hope she makes a comeback she’s one of my favs

haha yeah sure japanese dramas often create spin off series alongside main series, often times for a side couple like they are doing with this kdrama. for example the jdrama kikazaru koi had an adjacent spinoff series for a side couple to expand their story. spinoff stories are made for romance jdramas often, usually for a side couple or side character. other examples of main dramas with a side couple spinoff that i remember off the top of my head are “ousama ni sasagu”, “can we warm up this love?”, “oh my boss koi wa bessatu”, and “love will begin when money ends”.

in kdramas i have rarely seen a spinoff happening, especially one airing right alongside/after the original main drama. but this same spinoff culture is kind of the norm in jdramas

also my original comment is not just referring to this spinoff thing, but also how recently korean and japanese drama industry seems to be collaborating a lot. there are many korean actors working in jdramas, japanese actors working in kdramas, and japanese producers taking up korean drama project, and vice versa. it is quite cool to see. so kdramas seem to be in their jdrama era lol i hope that makes sense

for real i feel like they tried too hard to give all of the villains a sad backstory, it got a bit much with shuran and shen yurong, those two were straight up evil and black hearted. wannings story made her a little more complex, as well as the imperial diviner. and i didn’t entirely mind ruoyaos redemption. but now that i really look back at it why were all the villains getting a redemption or sad backstory 😭 it’s way too much man
