I just finished episode 11 and he’s beyond annoying the way he acts like he has some sort of claim on the FL.…
it was important cause he was the one who saved her from getting abducted, he is the one who handled all the legal stuff which could have gone sideways if SJH and GEH didn't personally know a prosecutor. i agree he got annoying at times but in the end he only meant well and immediately backed off once he saw how much they loved each other. he was just worried about her is all, it's not like he ever crossed any boundaries or forced himself on her.
honestly, ep 15's end makes sense to me. explaining why in the comment below to mark it as spoiler:
it was shown that his dad always forced the whole "you must knock down others to survive yourself" ideology and that SJH always rejected it. Till the very end his dad wanted to make SJH like himself, someone who will eventually hurt others or fight back while SJH wanted to prove he's nothing like his dad. the only way to make his father understand (and maybe accept that in the next ep, is what i'm predicting?) was to show that even despite everything his father had done to him, SJH is still a good person at heart and protects those he cares about (irrespective of whether he cares about his dad or not)
yes he could have just pushed him outta the way etc etc but all of that wouldn't leave as big of an impact as taking the knife for his shit father. pretty sure STP is well aware he is a douche of a dad so seeing such a selfless act from SJH is probably meant to rewire his brain lmao and create a grand epiphany.
thus, i actually like the end a lot. i don't like it when leads get hurt for no reason when they could've easily chosen a safer alternative, but this particular scene holds A LOT of meaning to it and pretty much defines the ML's character.
also bang jun ho has definitely not redeemed himself w that sloppy back story and to make things worse he keeps acting like a douche to the FL despite everything he's done (plus the refusal to accept any wrongdoing on his part) no SML syndrome here lmao.
Hye Ji is a true friend! and that's rare to see in kdramas cause usually the friend ends up having a falling apart with the FL cause of the guy. so happy they didn't follow that route for once.
well that confirms the leak theory! i don't mind that much but i am sad that the info about the show airing leaked since it's making the show feel less authentic
