i honestly liked the show but the end not so much? idk why exactly but it just doesn't feel up to the mark. overall, a good one time watch if you like palace politics based dramas.
also, again, your misfortune and tragedy does not give you the right to murder others? if your life was hell that doesn't mean you get a free pass to make other's lives hell as well? it seems the writers are trying really hard to get us to sympathise with QD and CSR but i'm just not feeling the pity lmao.
okay so even though it was not CSR who killed MY's mom but still we can't overlook the fact that she still died cause of him and QD? i get he was trying to save her but if i was MY i wouldn't really feel any better with this new info because the fact that her mom died cause of some other woman still remains the same?
the rating is unnecessarily low :( i understand not everyone will like this but it is still a pretty good lighthearted romcom drama! a needed break from the usual emotional romances.
i started watching this with a preformed bias that it'll be bad and now i regret it cause i skipped parts of the first two eps so i couldn't enjoy it to the fullest. wanna rewatch it from the start already but i'll wait until it ends somehow!
my blood is boiling i wish i could kill CSR and QD myself like they're such disgusting people fr. also really hoping that the brothers don't go against each other.
tbh i totally understand dosungs reaction considering he just saw 3 of the closest people to him get hurt and the CP just stood by watching it happen (if it did not happen indirectly cause of him in the first place) like no wonder he wants to protect his people himself now.
also, honestly it just always seems like MY ends up causing problems only for the CP instead of actually helping. like since the very beginning only. her major role is just playing a physician. i also cannot understand her acting after finding out so many traumatising things like i understand she has to hold it in but she's unrealistically calm in the presence of her murderous father and the woman because of whom her mother was killed.
the CP has been pretty useless in handling the mess ngl even tho i know he's trying but it just seems like only the villains have any moves tbh and he's just being played by them.
really enjoying the show tbh, the palace politics and all. the acting not so much tho lol.
desperately hoping they don't drag the sadness till the last ep!! i need at least 1 ep of them being together happily with the damn taxi driver out of the picture!!
he is trying to hold on. the queen isn't trusting him with what she knows, his grandpa is also not trustworthy.…
true i agree but rn i don’t think he’s doing anything secretly as he was earlier. this episode he said i don’t know what to do anymore what would you do if you were here gun so i think that confirms that he’s not actively doing anything rn. plus mainly, asking the head court maid of the QD for help after showing his wrath towards the both of them just two episodes ago when he broke the plant is kinda off putting about his character.
