It’s delightful! The cast is very good. Beautiful clothing in a setting without the glass and steel background is refreshing. This coming of age story of the best friends is heart warming and complete. 9/10
I liked it. It’s good, but, not great. It felt like several stories stitched together. I got invested in a character. Then, their story is abruptly over and new characters with thin backgrounds dominate each episode. Also, 6 episodes are not enough for this storyline. Additional seasons are mandatory to bring closure. I don’t watch much horror. So, too much gore for me. 8/10
The acting is very good. The early storyline was very good especially with the child actors in the Cheese world. The first 13 to 15 episodes flowed very well. The rest of the drama was needlessly complicated in both the Cheese and Strawberry parallel worlds. The last two episodes with the long narratives explaining both worlds and the character’s lives bouncing back and forth between them is a clear sign the previous storyline was too complicated. 8/10
Beautiful and heart wrenching is the best description. Beautiful people in beautiful settings in beautiful clothing doing beautiful things with their lives. This is one of those dramas you can watch with the sound off and still be entertained. The acting, storyline and CGI done right makes this even more enjoyable! The last 5 episodes were a bit slow. 9/10
First time in my k-drama life I ship the SFL with ML. But I don't think that's going to happen.
I was thinking the same. The FL character has deep insecurities and some baggage. The SFL is chill. She’s not even hating. But, it’s easier to do when you are wealthy and your house don’t smell like oysters! Lol.
I was looking for this comment. Thanks! My sentiments exactly! It was exasperating watching the lack of common…
I started watching because I loved the acting of both Nam Ji Hyun and Kim Go Eun. So, I was hoping for more from this drama. It just did not deliver for me.
This should be titled A Little Childish instead of Little Women. I barely made it past episode 4 after trying to complete this twice. The sisters lacked common sense and are too easily manipulated by several people considering they grew up in a hard knock life and had to learn survival skills early in life. The villians were predictable. So, not much thrilling or unexpected. This is more makjang than a thriller. 7/10
I watched until the end because I like a lot of the actors. But, the storyline and its presentation were lacking. I have not seen the French version. A viewer should not need to watch other renditions to understand and appreciate the Korean version. Most actors in this are proven talent. They can only carry the storyline so far. The ending forces a second season. But, this first season does little to increase a viewer’s desire to anticipate the second season. So, I’m not optimistic it will be funded. Score: 7.5/10
It’s funny in a lot of scenes and drags when it starts to take it self seriously. I didn’t have high expectations after seeing the trailer. I watched for the jokes and the acting. So, I was not disappointed that the plot had holes, the main couple’s chemistry was weak and the villains were forgettable. 8.0
This felt like they didn’t have enough in the script. So, they added slow motion walks down long perspective hallways or into entrances like they were catwalk models.
The background music was overly dramatic for most of the scenes.
The extended closeup camera pauses on faces after the actor had already finished their lines were awkward.
Don’t get me started on the go go dancing in the masked party. The pole was the only missing prop. Wth!
The ending? Did it end? I’m not so sure.
The acting of the leads and children were the only saving grace. Giving an 8.0 score is generous.
Wow! I just came to find out about this drama to see if it is worth watching and I stepped into a pile of dog mess! I scrolled so much through the weeds my fingers are tired! Lol! It is hard to find constructive criticism on this drama in this section while wading through the extensive hater comments. Differing opinions make a lively comment section, but, don’t take it too far. I’m just gonna come back after a lot more issues aired. Hopefully , this mess will clear out by then, cause this section is ridiculous and not MOST like!
I binge watched 20 episodes (skipping half of Ou Yang Xu’s scenes. So annoying!) I fell in love with this drama. Smart people with common sense making logical decisions is so rare in dramaland.
