It’s slow build romance, (very slow) that lacks intensity and passion like competitors start a working relationship that eventually leads to mild romance because of proximity and opportunities. The few and far between kissing scenes look staged as if you can hear the director in the background instructing each movement. Maybe it’s the Covid factor.
Why does this mean you have a problem? Alcohol takes ages to leave your system and If you like go to a birthday…
She clearly has a drinking problem, a judgement problem or both. She chose to drink to excess. She chose to drive drunk at 8 am mid week in a country where the common citizen can hire a designated driver to drive them home if they are too drunk (too tired) to drive. Also, she is famous with access to people in her company that could ensure she got home safely just to prevent a scandal if she had drunk dialed them for help. I’m hoping it’s a series of bad judgments on her part. Time will tell.
Do Ba Woo nearly stealing the show every time he’s on screen
The actor played that character very well. He didn’t steal the scene from my perspective. I was getting more irritated when I saw him in a scene compared to the other supporting characters. I knew he was start some trouble.
This could have, should have, been much better. It had all the right ingredients for a legendary drama: good actors, good sets, great clothing, and great food scenes. The script was the weakest link and it shows in the acting. I barely made it to the end. The slow motion cooking scenes carried me through the many dull moments including the boring fight scenes. The ending was comical. I couldn’t take it seriously even knowing the expected ending. The food and Xu Kai were the best parts of this drama. 7.5/10
This is entertainment in a little package. No fillers or extended useless episodes, just cuteness that makes you want to cheer for the MLs and say a prayer for the love rival. 9/10
I was slow to start watching because I got tired of the typical “road trip with friends” travel shows. This was was much better. They didn’t have members fighting for camera time except for Hong Chul’s “Netpleeeeex “ boot licking every episode trying to get free Netflix membership for life! Yes, Hong Chul screens a lot. Then, I got used to it like I got used to he screaming in kdramas. Rain was the perfect balance to the over active Hong Chul who is in his element like a mermaid in water, but, is afraid of fish touching him! Rain pulled him down when he got out of hand an those scenes were not edited out. I especially like how they appreciated the scenery and just let the camera roll. 9/10
