I’m on ep 15, seems like the story totally dropped the ball regarding the Nanwu Saintest plot. Does it become…
"Jiang Si’s actions toward the ML in this life don’t seem quite right, when she thought he supposedly kill her in the last life."
In this life, he already saved her from 1) drowning, 2) getting strangled to death 3) getting poisoned to death. He also saved her honor when she was drugged, and between two life-saving of hers, he saved her brother too.
He was doing all this while he knew that she had the Nanwu symbol on her, so that she had something to do with the enemies of the empire. He still helped her at every occasion possible.
I think that's enough to suspect that in the past life there was a misunderstanding, and trust him now. ;)

"In this life, she still has time and energy to go sightseeing in Liangshui……"
She doesn't go to Liangshui for sightseeing at all. She is going there because the next victim in her past life was her sister. So she is heading there to protect her and prevent her tragic death (she doesn't know why she died in her past life).
That's crazy, he looks so good while doing it too. His stance is perfect, and he's really good at riding, but…
"riding hands-free shouldn't be too hard."
I understand... but here for shooting the arrows the person must turn the upper body completely, and doing a completely other movement (shooting), not just riding the horse normally with free hands.
But is she really dead? Or is this another one where someone rescued her at the last minute and now she is horribly…
In a Chinese drama, only a beheaded person can't come back... any other seemingly fatal wound can be easily healed if the scriptwriters decide to do so. But here I don't think they chose a come back for Ming Yue.
I totally agree about them having a good normal wedding night unlike Are You the One or Blossom (FL doing a PowerPoint…
"The PowerPoint presentation wearing the dark blue nun robes of chastity!"
😂😂😂
I have dropped Blossom halfway.. I didn't have enough patience for that series.. too dark, too much angst and the romance part wasn't interesting enough for me... :D
Oh, I am sad for the aunt, she wasn't a good person for sure, but she seemed to change after what happened.
The last scene with her seemed to show that she has changed. She was truly grateful to Jiang Si, and no longer hated her, on the contrary. That's why I am sad because she could have experienced a new, happy life, without hating people.
And that's why I'm not sad at all about Royal Princess' daughter, because she remained as evil as ever, until the very end. I didn't feel anything for her mother either, while she was mourning her daughter. They have never changed.

I couldn't finish that series for the first time, it was too draggy, and the time when they were separated lasted way too long. Then for the second time I really enjoyed it, because of the funny moments, and also it was touching to see how their feelings developed for each other. But I hated the drunken wedding night scene too. This series could have been perfect with one or two normal romantic scenes towards the end...

"And though I hated the drunk ML wedding night scene in Are You the One"
I liked that series, and they had a good chemistry, but the romance in there was nearly non-existent... and that was frustrating, as the whole series was mainly focused on the relationship of the two main leads...

These people just can't change... and there are people like this in real life too... :((((
