I liked him the best in LYF, as CX, but that story was so sad.. never again such a heartbreaking drama, even if the character is well portrayed..

I agree 100%.

For me up to ep 35 the series had 10/10... but I can't rate the last episodes, they had no sense...

It's the opposite for me, I loved all his costume dramas (except "Lost you forever") and I'll certainly watch the next one if there is a happy ending. :)

There isn't any harem, ML loves only FL and he did everything to avoid marriage with others, he even risked his life and renounced to his "prince" title. So that phrase "leading the imperial harem" is there only for the protocol, there isn't any harem, and won't be any, according to the characters of ML and FL.

I loved Cang Xuan, but his story was so sad!

"The Rise of Ning" and "Are you the one" are very enjoyable too!

I liked her in this series, she was great! :)

I enjoyed it very much up to ep 35.

1) There isn't any love triangle (2ML likes FL, but she refuses him firmly and he accepts it).

2) The brother-in-law of FL tried to rape her, but she could escape, fortunately.

I preferred him in "The Rise of Ning" too. :)

The drama was so good, and the last few episodes (from ep 36) didn't make ANY sense.

There wasn't any logic in it, all the characters acted stupidly and often, out of character...

I don't know how the writers could ruin such a good story.

ML noticed when she stole the pass... but he chose to trust her..

I wished for a romance between Aman and Long Dan instead... of course with a happy ending.

I couldn't sympathize with the brother's character at all.. and so I didn't get into this romance either. Chu chu was great though... but it wasn't credible at all that she fell in love with this character.

Yu Jin said several times that he will have only one wife, as he only loves one woman, Jiang Si. This was one of the main themes of the drama...

I agree. I was very disappointed in the last few episodes. It seemed like the writers had no idea how to end the story properly, it's a pity.

The most interesting part - Yu Qi's self-sacrifice was not properly explained either, and it was not clarified what happened then... who killed Jiang Si earlier.

I could continue on and on... I am disappointed, it was so good until the last few episodes.

This is not a historical film, but a fairy tale in historical costumes. ;)
