am i going to hate the ML's birth mother forever and ever?(yes, spoilers pls )
I've continued to hate her during the whole series... but she is supposed to be nicer at the end. The end didn't make any sense, by the way... even if it was HE.
What? His character here is more likable than Lost You Forever & in Rise Of Ning.
"Cui is a prince right?"
A local lord, meaning that in a 'province' he is the n1 authority, so he has absolute power in that part of the empire (only the emperor is above him), but he is not related to the royal family. Even if he has the title of "prince" (I don't remember if he has it), it has nothing to do with the royal family, it's just a title. But he has a very high status, only the emperor is above him, and the other local lords are equal to him. His mother has a very high status in the province he rules, because she is the mother of the n1 person of that region.
I'm disappointed that the drama didn't include why Yu Jin was so in love with Jiang Si. The manhua and novel detailed…
He is a soldier who hasn't seen many women in his life... then at the age of 20 he meets the beautiful, pretty, kind and smart FL who looks at him with love from the moment he saves her from the poisoned arrow (from that moment she can't hide that she loves him..). Later she kisses him because of the drug.. I think no further explanation is needed.. :D
No. He is so much better in Costume dramas. He also suited the characters very well. You should watch Are You The…
I've watched the trailer, and it's to dark for me... (it was the same for The Double. I prefer light-hearted dramas, like "The Rise of Ning" or Si Jin (up to ep 35).
It's the opposite for me, I loved all his costume dramas (except "Lost you forever") and I'll certainly watch…
CX was his best role... but his other costume dramas were either comedies (Are you the one?) or fairy tales (The Rise of Ning, and Si Jin). So the characters were far more simple, than in LYF.

I was team CX 100% ;) :)))))
The same for me. :)
I don't watch modern dramas either... life is a modern drama itself... when watching a fiction, I prefer to have an other setting...
