Btw I feel the same way about you for this drama. I haven’t got time to read the novel yet but I really like this drama flow so far. 24eps is perfect for it, not too long or short.

In this drama it’s Ding Ding and Director Lu. You can pretty much guess it from the trailers of intro and ending songs.

I love how this drama also told the story about film making adaptation of a novel. I like to see the process, it’s interesting. Now they’re at the stage of scouting the casts.
TY should listen more to his cute assistant Gao since what he said or suggested is always right. The drunk acting worked well.

I’m pretty sure they will end up together if you looked at the trailer for ending song. There’s a scene where they gonna kiss. I didn’t read the novel but usually drama adaptation won’t 💯 follow the novel.

I’m just matching your young teenager energy since you love to be complimented like that. You freely judged people so when people returned it you flipped. yea that paper money paid the bills, everyone needs that paper money except disney princess like you maybe. Your learning curve is questionable for the context because the reason some people didn’t need to run for money is because they’re rich themselves and they will mingle with rich circle so they don’t have to look below them. I also started with well off backgrounds, so I know what I should look for in a partner. You’re either rich from the start and your partner is equally rich or you made dumb decisions in your life and ended up with poor partner, you need to work it our yourself to make it.

There’s nothing wrong with being material girl. If you’re really a person with moral, you won’t judge them. Plenty of them have stable life like you claimed to be but they want to look for equally stable partner (like me) or even richer then them for stability of life. Like I said, I have stable income now and I live myself well with my own money yet I think further for the future kids to have even more stable household.

Naive girls are everywhere too, not until life responsibilities hit them and there will be bills to pay and future kids to feed later on.

Like I said, I agree with the other comment replying to you. It worked for confident women who flirted with men like TY’s bestie. If you want to be realistic, many people would choose someone good looking and rich like TY. People only dislike it because she said it out loud and it’s considered ‘unethical’ and ‘problem’ to you. This is not just in drama, most people work like that irl too. If you want to live in fantasy, sure go ahead with having love is enough to look in a partner. I chose my bf because he has stable job & income too because I also have stable job & income. You see that? That’s how people like me chose a potential partner for marriage in the future. Love and feelings are important, like the love TX has for TY but nothing wrong with looking at appearance and wealth as well for the future.
That’s not just in ‘drama’. I personally think you’re the one who live in fantasy. People want to be ‘morally right’ so much even with looking at rich partner is judged as ‘wrong’. As you grow older, you will look at things differently. Young and immature people tend to live in fantasy of love is just enough to conquer the world not until you have bills to pay and future kids to feed later on. Oh well. Agree to disagree. We have different pov level.

I was talking about Director Lu not Tang Yu haha but nvm I agree about your points about TY. It’s obvious he’s also very tolerant towards her. He’s also interested in her while she’s courting him. I also noticed it. His mixed signals were the reason why she had the confidence to confess. He did lead her on so I actually understand her pov when she thought he’s also interested in her. But some people did argue with our points tho, blaming her for misunderstanding his gestures. To me that’s not misunderstanding at all from her part, he did give her hope maybe without him even realizing he also likes her until much later.

I agree with the other comment replying to you. This kind of confession can work for strong character women who are very confident to flirt in a seductive way. I’m not that type of women but I know they exist. BUT I did tell my bf that I like him because he’s good looking to me hahaha initial liking because of looks is normal. It’s a very straightforward answer but too bad our ML is not a flirtatious man like his bestie. We know TX has way deeper feeling for TY but she’s honest about the face/appearance part because she did like him at first sight based on the trailer. Love at first sight is typically because of physical appearance and there’s nothing wrong with that because let’s be real, who wouldn’t fall in love with TY’s appearance? 😂
But along the way, as she knows more about him, her feelings deepen of course.

The torture of chasing ongoing drama, I knew it but still did it but this drama is worth it, I really like it so far. There were scenes that I dislike but overall it’s enjoyable.
I like that TY is so open to everyone that he’s courting TX whenever people asked him about it. Btw now he knows liking someone didn’t necessarily need reasons like he demanded from TX to answer. Like he told his sister, he just likes TX, not because he thinks they’re compatible.
To me, it’s so awkward when we’re trying to confess and the other party asked why we like him, I would be speechless trying to find the reason why & I will probably blurt nonsense, like TX did.

Agree! I only have problem with those 2 scenes, the other parts I like it especially the leads acting and chemistry. Not just them, most of the casts are good.

ikr I didn’t even get the vibe that he likes TX until his colleague pointed it out on ep7. From the start, it looks like professional relationships between them, he’s always been respectful to her. His genuinely wanted to produce her book because he likes it. But I did think they also look good together haha
I just wish he will be a good protective friend to her. Even if he did like her, I don’t think he will be another pushy SML, so far he has been very gentleman towards her.

ikr he didn’t even seem to be interested much in MZ, just that he immediately agree with the courting plan when his friend introduced him to TX. From his personality, it’s not like his style to court someone with the help of another girl he barely knows. It did look like he’s more interested in TX from the start of the plan haha

It’s so obvious she didn’t move on yet but she just tried hard to pick up her dignity and she valued her book so she went to other production. The way she’s still greatly affected whenever he’s too close to her said it all and TY knew it, he teased her about the kiss and all.

I agree about she’s the one who chose to spent 4years liking him. At least she had tried putting in efforts to court him even with sneaky way by ‘helping him’ to court her bestie. He rejected her and she should accept it in a mature way. But her efforts didn’t come to waste anyway, she did give him some effects to his heart but she didn’t know it yet. He fell for her. Just that he took some time to process it lol
Btw other than moving to her next door like the millionaire he is, I also think the millionaire TY also bought her house and sold it back to her with cheap price😂

Anyway, I really like this drama so far. They both are good at acting and they look good together. The plot is simple but I need something simple with good acting like this.

Btw the contract of the book with Time was 4years. She can’t simply end the contract, she can get sued. Hence, she stayed that long waiting for him to adapt it because she really wanted it to be him, other than being her crush, she also believed in his vision and capabilities. Not until she heard how LZX sincerely wanted to adapt her book. I will chose LZX him too, because he genuinely likes it and took the time to read it. Unlike TY until she called him out for it. She went to LZX’s production after her contract ended and she chose not to renew with Time.

I don’t agree with the whole stalking behaviours too, by both side but he took it as putting his effort to woo her, we can disagree tho. I also don’t think he’s at fault because he genuinely didn’t know she has feeling for him and he accidentally hurt her with all those courting her bestie using TX’s plan. He’s not aware until much later, after he asked his secretary about his relationship with TX & he denied it. At that time he knows she did all the extra efforts because she likes him.
About the book, I still think TY didn’t deserve it, because he didn’t even bother to read it even when she asked for his help with it. He even initially thought she’s trying to use him for favors until he realized she likes him. Hence the question about why she likes him coming out from him. But I don’t blame him tbh his feeling is valid, hers too.

Now that he’s courting her back, I would love to see his efforts for her.

true, the way she looked when LZX talked about how much he likes her book said it all. She’s touched. If I were her, I will be so touched too that someone’s finally appreciating my work and genuinely wanted to adapt it into a movie. Especially after her proposal of the book’s adaptation being rejected coldly by TY. He didn’t even read it at that time.
