ep26, the scene on the mountain with piggyback, fireflies and flute under the moonlight was so well done. SY wanted to give ZY a good memory of separation and not wanting to see ZY cried anymore everytime they had to separate, I went🥹 this drama do romance between them so well imo, they truly nailed this master-disciple romance. And it didn’t even come out of nowhere at all, they have backstory that I can understand why they both can fall in love. The mountain scene was really sorrowful & romantic at the same time to me. Good acting, good execution, CGI and mood of the overall scene👍

I think they truly wasted her real voice. She sounds good and get praised for it on Serenade of Peaceful Joy. Her other current ongoing drama, Ray of Light, she also used her own voice. The drama is also getting so much praises.

Because Western Huang is so far away, it will drain CM’s energy. There’s a scene where CM said he’s too tired to fly so it’s logical that they decided to just walk. Besides CM is a mystical creature at Jiuyi Mountain, so isn’t it better not to be that obvious since they’re also investigating something? It will raise suspicion to see CM flying around out of the mountain with a Kongsang priest on his back.

I like how they develop Sy-Zy in this drama. They know each other since little, developed into almost friends before becoming master-disciple so they didn’t go through typical master-disciple romance troupe. I believe they’re attracted to each other way before that. They just developed it more after spending more time together. In the drama, I don’t get this vibe he’s raising her because of this. They have master-disciple vibe but not the one like Yuan-Zy.

I agree, it’s her life. People can have opinion about it but in the end it’s up to her for final decision. She’s always being kept in the dark so I’m so glad she said that to him. If I were her, being cut off so coldly like that, I will never ask for help from him or even talk to him anymore. She’s better than me lol
