She’s awesome, really. At her age to be able to act so naturally, she cried so efforlessly as well. I first watched her on Cry Me A Sad River when she was 18(?) and I was impressed. On Serenade of Peaceful Joy too, she nailed it among veteran actors she worked with. Her chemistry with Wang Kai as her father was so convincing, same goes to her love interest in the drama. She’s a very promising young actress. When she was announced for this drama, the director did say she’s selected for her skills.

Ren Min and Wang Churan have worked together a lot of times, they’re from same company if I’m not mistaken. They also entered same acting TV competition. RM was recognized at that time. If you watched the BTS together with Bai Xueying character, all 3 look so close and cute together playing around like kids because they’re almost same aged.

the director clarified from earlier when they casts were announced. They picked her because of her acting skill. She’s well known as having good skill among young actresses. I had watched her before this and I can confirm how good she is at deep acting scene that will be useful later on in the drama. Second half of it will surely be angst.

true it started to get much better around 7. I started repeating scenes many times on ep8 above, it’s really fun now & light. Well gotta enjoy the peace while it lasts because angst is coming😉
