Weibo people always be dissing PXR, they always use Xiao Feng’s image in GMP to ridicule her other characters in her drama. They compared all her characters with XF. Her most popular character also being used to ridicule her. I hope PXR will find another breakthrough like CXX did with his latest popular drama. Maybe this drama can work like wonders and finally break her free from XF. I love GMP so much but cnetz always used that to compare with PXR/CXX new dramas, it becomes annoying. PXR is a talented actress.

I have been waiting for this new drama of Peng Xiaoran & Ding Yuxi, I think they really matched. After The Starry Love, I have a new drama to watch from my favs.

haha ikr CF/YT & QK/YQ are too similar in thinking… that’s why the sisters can handle their husbands, they have the experience from their own siblings😂

ikr I found myself observing all their words, I really think they adlibs a lot of words to fit their emotions to each other. That ‘ what are you doing’ with heartbreaking tone from SYQ sounded so raw & it’s not like your typical script with screaming part. I also think he adlib this, like it’s so impactful even tho it sounds like normal words but very appropriate to that scene. Hah these two are amazing actors! I’m very impressed with the small details I can detect.

ikr some actors/actresses care so much on how to look pretty/cool while crying, I can’t even feel it when they cried. Like I can admit they look pretty but the emotions didn’t reach me but I love both CXX & LLD crying scenes. YT crying when she found out about her father’s gifts that didn’t reach her & CXX crying when YT died…I felt them. It’s so good and satisfying to watch.

In one interview, Li Landi said the husbands of Yetan & Qingkui both resembled their twins in personalities/background , YT= CF & QK=YQ… so in a way the sisters never let go of each other from their minds. I agree, I also think it’s one of the reasons they fell in love with their husbands because their husbands remind them of each other. Yetan can see Qingkui in Youqin and Qingkui can see Yetan in Chao Feng. Like it’s so sweet of these two sisters.

They have A LOT of fated moments together, the first time they met was during audition for The Guardians of the Land, LLD even had photo of her sitting beside CXX on her phone but she didn’t remember him until he pointed it out lol

that drama was quite good actually, but I think it’s too long😂 I watched like 1year ago for Li Landi

I remember his last bts of GMP, when his wife died, he also delivered this kind of acting. He totally was immersed into it, he gave his all. I love how both CXX/LLD delivered their emotional scenes without caring about image whatsoever, they gave it all and just let it out. I truly can feel how sincere were the emotions😌

ikr it was so freaking raw, so real I can totally feel the sadness to let go. It’s rare for me to get this kind of feeling. I have this feel when the actors truly delivered their emotion, script and everything. The script was also so raw, that ‘haiya’ was so soft it’s like she adlib that, she’s like a mother comforting her vulnerable child. At that time, I saw SYQ’s emotion like a pure child. A lover being very vulnerable to part way with the love of his life😌

yup he definitely bounced back after GMP with TSL. Same goes to Li Landi, she was popular during her My Huckleberry Friends days but their follow up projects didn’t get them on higher positions but they will definitely bounce back after TSL. Both are so good at acting, with great visuals, the deserved it. I wish for better projects to solidify their status after TSL.

I want to appreciate how honest was the performance of Chen Xingxu and Li Landi when they hugged while crying in the last episode. Like whoa, CXX was crying hard for real, no nonsense to act cool while crying whatsoever. LLD bitter/happy/painful crying. When she said ‘haiya, why are you crying’ to him🥹 it was so soft and it felt like it was very private last moment of them. Superb acting I felt it like stabbbinv to my heart. These two have amazing chemistry!

true, this story is very suitable to be recommended to watchers who are new to xianxia. It’s not boring with fillers, the adventure was good, the romance was good, the visuals yes 👍 Some people don’t like long episodes drama but this drama made it right, I even feel like it’s too short haha

Exactly! SYQ is the role model for good lover, unlike his LCY character. He’s getting that complete opposite role, which is good.

Li Landi made a guest role for Guardian of The Land, new drama of CXX & CMC. CXX will have one sided crush on her and she will turn him down (she said this during their interview). HXL will also be there as supporting role. They had worked together twice, I mean if there’s another one, that will be their 3rd time

the ending was …expected for a supposed xianxia, but we’re hoping for a different touch since this drama overall went on different route than usual xianxia. But I’m okay with the ending tbh OE with a hint of HE. But I bet there will be special tho😌
Overall this drama is still a solid 10 from me. I enjoyed from ep1 to ep40, few of rare cdrama where I found 40eps are too short for it and I didn’t even skip any. I did skipping a lot when it comes to cdramas since they tend to drag and get boring with side characters as fillers but this drama is an exception.
I’m so happy to see Chen Xingxu and Li Landi getting the recognition they deserved. They’re not new actors of course, both were child actors in fact from the same acting academy. I have liked CXX from GMP, I somehow think he redeemed his toxic ‘Li Chengyin’ character as SYQ. Different dramas & characters, I know but that’s how I see it. SYQ is a such an epic lover to YT here.
Li Landi has been one of my favs actresses since her My Huckleberry Friends days, I watched Don’t Disturb My Study & GO Into Your Heart for her after that. But this drama is the match and most worthy after MHF. I hope she will be getting better projects after this, same with CXX. During their interview, they both are willing to work together again for the 3rd time if there’s a chance haha they have great chemistry & synergy.
Shout out to other characters as well, they all contributed so much. I find the whole casts have great dynamic and synergy since they worked together quite often. Goodbye The Starry Love, I will definitely rewatch again. May you blow even bigger🫰

I watched 3 dramas of WYS, Young Blood, Jun Jiuling and Song of The Moon. He’s okay & good looking but his acting is not as good as CXX. There’s a reason why CXX trended in China for his mannerism as SYQ… Kiki emote fine? she’s okay I guess but like I said very lacking. She won’t be able to do micro expressions like LLD did. In short, I can’t picture her as Yetan at all. Your choice of actors are quite questionable in term of acting acting chops, beauty I can’t comment because it’s in the eyes of the beholders. Many been saying Landi is gorgeous, and yes cute. I don’t like sharp and strong features like Kiki. Kiki’s acting is just on the same level as her fellow idol actresses like Wu Xuan Yi imo. Like I said, Yetan is not a simple character.
But I can picture Kiki as Qingkui, she will suit her since the acting part is not that complex. New actress can pull it off.
