finished watching, I’m patient enough to wait for today to watch final eps.
I stayed because of Yanhui/Tianyao tbh one of my top CP now.
Zhou Ye is such a good actress, she nailed her scenes no matter emotional, funny, crying…very natural actress. I personally think her skill is one of the top among young actresses in c-ent. Definitely will get bigger with her talent and beauty.
Hou Minghao, I watched him since his Cambrian Period days, he was a totall baby there, like baby dragon kind of baby haha he improved A LOT over the years.

Btw I know Suying is evil and she deserved her karma but I still feel bad for her. Lu Musheng totally not worth all of her stupid efforts. She could be a grand master immortal if she’s not this obsessive about him. Man ain’t even that worthy of it lol
When YH said the obvious hard truth ‘he doesn’t love you anymore’ my heart kinda break for Suying. Such a pity.

ikr it’s obvious the general really cares about him like a father would & that’s why he did everything he can for CL. The general is a good man at first. I bet he will use the gullible physician girl next since the girl seems to like him.

Chanlang is very cruel to even the only people who rooted for him since he was a baby, that last scene with the General did make me feel something for their bond… too bad Chanlang didn’t even care smh

I’m wathing this drama too and it’s fun so far. Acting wise, great acting from almost everyone on the show. Plot not very fresh, have some cliche stuffs but still engaging and funny because of the leads imo. FL ML are definitely the main attraction. They have awesome chemistry. Can’t compare to Huxin tho since it’s a completely different genre. The drama deserves their popularity.
I still love Huxin more tho

I agree tbh at first the characters like BXS feels fresh but it went downhill when they made him went down typical annoying SML. He’s so annoying to the point I cursed him when he’s on screen lol I wish he will just disappear🤣
YH also started to become gullible and she just trusts BXS so much, I somehow think the dude will betray her with his lie lol
Now she’s at the point where she didn’t know what TY did for her, especially about his immortality.

I know, I will be sad for TY too because he seems to treasure him a lot, the friend even appeared in the trial illusion to test him. Only important people to TY/YH appeared in their illusions. But it could be a premonition too about the people they trust. TY with his friend and YH with her master. They both are the ones who handed over the books in their illusions. I personally think both the friend and the master are sketchy.

well I have other thought when the uncle suddenly told TY not to play the matchmaker, how did he know about that? I don’t think TY told him anything about it. During the trial, TY did realize it was illusion because his friend, the uncle didn’t know anything about their plan. Or maybe I’m just overthinking lol

BXS escalated quickly from a character I found funny, a comrade as a fellow shipper to annoying SML I wish won’t have too much screen time lol he’s getting worse for last few eps, always being prejudiced about TY even when he clearly knew what happened to him in the past when he got dismembered by Suying. His clan got annihilated too so he should know how that feels for TY yet he dissed him about it whoa shut up dude🙄
So satisfying to see YH straight away turned him down without beating around the bush lol
Idk what’s BXS real plan but I hope he didn’t purposely make YH killed the Qingqiu King for his plan. I think the regeant king is the sketchy one but he’s TY’s friend so idk, we can’t believe TY judgement about people too as he used to be gullible about Suying in the past 😂
I don’t think he’s really blind, who knows maybe he’s teaming up with the General instead to take over the throne for real.

damn this drama is so good right off the bat. Ep1 their scene on the taxi lol I can relate to the auto carplay betrayal because I had went through the same embarassment once, not as embarrassing as XY tho😂
Combo of Wu Qian and Zhang Bin Bin can never go wrong of course. Hot & cute chemistry tbh

How I wish the writer will not waste him like that… as usual as catalyst for ML FL relationship.

for a low budget drama, I must say this drama has decent plot, pretty costumes(I’m surprised because the costumes didn’t look cheap at all), both leads have good visuals and good acting from both! Even the supporting characters acted well. Teh directing is also quite good compared to other short series with choppy editing.
However you will be very disappointed with the ending lol I like the FL from The Immortal Promise, she really can act but what’s up with her dramas ending so badly🥲
ML is really good looking, FL picked good dramas with good looking partner definition haha her partner for TIP Richard Li is such an eye candy too.
I think this is worth watching for a short drama but don’t watch if you hate SE😅

I heard people be scolding TY like relax it’s just a drama and he has his reason to do so even tho I will apreaciate it more if he actually explained it first to YH? like bro u don’t just stab her like that with that harsh fall to the ground. They really should make TY pay for this, I know they will…
