tbh he’s kinda cowardly imo many watchers found him and his wife funny yeah
but he’s the emperor who doesn’t want any trouble to his family/people. I understand his motive but I still found it cowardly, he just left the scene where the fate of 4 realms was at stake during the war between heaven/void realms. He has no loyalty. But his son Di Lan Jue has good qualities as a ruler. He is brave, smart, strong and has strong sense of loyalty to his friends. At least the Beast realm has a good successor.

It’s always been like that in ancient costume dramas I had watched, they always believe in prophecy or astrology stuffs. They just went with it for the sake of it. They didn’t care whether it’s morally wrong or not. Like the most kindest people will be randomly killed if they’re being predicted to be a ‘trouble’ in the future. It’s their culture to believe in superstition etc

Don’t let me see the justification and cleansing of Heavenly Emperor like they did for Human Emperor because he didn’t deserve any of it. At least Human Emperor gave me so much laughter on ep17. Still find it’s too easy for him to be forgiven tho.
If we really have such ‘god’ like Heavenly Emperor in this world, no wonder there’s so much injustice in life😂

Husui definitely has something up her sleeve when he told QK about the ‘separation’ but there’s no much time to focus on her, time is very limited now. Idk whether she’s good or not.
HE for couple aside, I love the couples. I want the sisters to be together and never be apart anymore as HE, along with their husbands of course😌

exactly, they went all mad when I told them about LLD’s background & how people in china been praising her acting skill/line delivery, same as CXX who superbly nailed his 5 characters. They can discuss about who can replace who here but we can’t even make some comments to defend the actors lol
and yes Yeta has more layers of emotion, depth and acting to her character. I’m already used to see 2nd couple stans dissing LLD/CXX here. They will play victims when we commented back to them tho😂

oh please, I have been here even before the airing of this drama because I waited for it. I saw what’s happening here. Aside from 2nd couple stans always dissing main couple because they think it’s unfair 2nd couple get lesser screentime (they should know by now who are the main characters), some people did diss LLD/CXX because they think their traffic favs can do better. Not all the time, I did see it sometimes so I’m just letting it out like some of you guys think how ‘replaceable’ they are.

You can go camping under the drama of your favs for that. It’s not like the actors are doing badly that they need to be ‘replaced’. ZLS stans are always like this, do you guys want her to be in all popular dramas??
Even ZLS was criticized fr her acting on WRTW with YY but YY did worse imo

Not like LLD & CXX were totally unknown either. They were child actors and LLD was popular during her My Huckleberry Friends days. She won iqiyi Scream Night & got into Forbes 30 under 30 China on 2017.
CXX was famous during GMP too. Yes they’re not traffic actors but the exact reason why I love the choice of casting too, it breaks the chain like the producer wanted it to be. The people with actual acting chops.

lol I legit laughed when you mentioned Kiki Xu the idol level actress who never get any recognition for her acting to replace Li Landi as Yetan here. Yetan is not a simple character, she has layers and no way Kiki can do that and yes I had watched Kiki before this. I don’t find her beauty striking either. She still has a lot to learn as new actress btw, her acting is underwhelming. Well, beauty is in the eyes of beholders and we have total different taste it seems but many agree Li Landi’s beauty as Yetan is very striking especially her eyes.
You may think Li Landi is not known because probably your first time knowing her but she’s a child actor like Chen Xing Xu. She was already praised since she was a child and she’s popular during her drama My Huckleberry Friends. LLD & CXX weren’t traffic actors yes but they have memorable works under their belt. I get that you’re stans of QK/CF & idk what’s your personal vandetta against CXX/LLD because I have seen you dissing YT/YQ characters but these two actors have been praised for their acting and line delivery for this drama especially when they used their own voices. They got the most praises among the actors in this drama. There’s no way Kiki can pull off any of Yetan yet with her experience as new actress. LLD pulled off Yetan so well, she nailed the comedy, fight scenes and even emotional scenes.
CXX also did so awesomely, I’m so glad this drama didn’t use traffic actors because I won’t be watching the same actors faces in dramas because it’s boring to see them all the time. The producers did great choosing experiences actors like CXX/LLD, and new actors like CMC & HXL.
