oh please I don’t know how many times I replayed scenes on dragon valley with the cutie elves hahaha like definitely one of the cutest scenes on cdrama land to me. The puppet show was so nice. The cute chubby elf is so cute. Btw you can tell TY or maybe Neo Hou himself really likes kids, the smiles and tender looks he gave whenever he looks at the kids… as swoon-worthy as the looks he gave to YH.
Ep16 smells like heartbreak but I have my theory that he had to do it to save the others.
Anyway I can’t wait to see TY courting YH, it’s his turn to do it after he gave YH such heartbreak.

woah they made remake of one of my favs taiwanese show. The original was quite popular back then and it was such a cute but inspiring drama.

bad ending haha you can take it as open ending too but it broke my heart for sure

I love how calm is the FL when she speaks, her voice also sounds so soft..she totally shows maturity. ML is complete opposite of her since he’s supposed to be 10yrs younger, being hot tempered at that age is kinda a given so I understand. But they’re just 5yrs apart irl, plus they actually look same aged in this drama😂
I can’t feel that ‘10yrs gap’ except from their personalities. I love Zhou Yutong, been watching a lot of her works before this. She’s well known as fashionable and good at acting before this. I like her fashion and style in this drama.
Wu Lei’s boyish style in this drama somehow suits her. His mature yet boyish looks her matched well with ZYT. Both are good actors at that, so good work they made here. I will be watching till the end for them both.
Btw as someone who had personally went through the same thing FL is experiencing with her boss, I can relate to her. The boss will make it hard to let go of the staff the more he/she sees potential in you.

FL is super pretty & cute but her acting cute like 90% of the time is cringey and unbearable for me to watch. But I like the angst at the beginning of the story, about her not-so-much one-sided love with her bestfriend. She has naturally pitiful face haha
She has quite good chemistry with ML, their visuals matched well..if only her character is more mature I will really like this version. tbh I have never watched the cdrama version.
ML is cute too, he has this blurry puppy face that anyone will adore. I like that he actually has face expressions for a nerd character like him.
I dropped this after they get together because I actually only want to see how they get together.

yup I like that Ji Man started to think about her own future without support from her husband, making money on her own because she knows the future is not certain between them. The message for girls to be independent on their own is good.

yea I remember Yang Zi being so thin for AoL. C-actresses look better and helathier with more wight. They’re already so pretty.
yea I agree about the outfits choice, the baggy, loose fabrics that supposed to make them look like fairies.
The 2nd FL is also looks too thin at her height.

I’m watching this to watch Zhao Lusi doing wuxia, the action scenes were great so far. I’m on ep8 but I found Lusi and Yang Yang have weak chemistry as love interest. Like these two have such gorgeous visuals together but I have to say, I don’t feel much romantic chemistry between them which surprised me😅
I think I might drop this because I already found myself skipping scenes here & there. It has boring parts definitely. I keep waiting for more chemistry between leads but too bad it’s still not there. ZLS has better chemistry with Prince Huang Chao so far.

yup she looks the best when her sweet spot is more prominent, more meat/fat on her face, it will make her look younger & fresher. I noticed even her hands got really small with veins popping out because she lost so much weight.

PXR is already so petite & skinny before this, I don’t understand why the needs with getting even skinnier but it’s quite normal in c-ent, the actresses are really obsessed with getting skinnier to the point I get scared watching them being too thin, the obvious part would be their legs in modern dramas, like I always get so shocked to see them. They all look prettier & healthier with more meat/fat, I miss their old healthier looks,

yup! I know the previous NSY had issues but I wish there’s more to it. The way the husband didn’t like it when NSY forgot about her feeling for him, I’m a sucker for that kind of plot lol

idk I wish Ji Man is still Nie Sangyu in the end instead of a ‘twin sister’ because I think it’s o unfair the way the ML treated his wife. I know the previous version of NSY was problematic but I wish to know more about it. I like the new NSY of course but I’m curious about the previous one.

PXR is too thin in this drama, she’s still pretty but she looks much healthier with her fuller cheeks imo
Sometimes when people look too thin, they will look older. I want to feed her so bad everytime I see how thin she is on the screen.

omg I love Peng Xiao Ran being so fun here, good character she has here. As expected, she did great with her expressions and emotional scenes. I like how independent and resourceful she is here.
Ding Yuxi nailed his ‘trauma’ part with his acting but I don’t like the way he treated the old version of NSY. I know she’s being told as ‘bad woman’ but somehow I think there’s more to it.
idk somehow I wish she’s really Nie Sangyu who lost her memories. I like the plot of the husband finally falling in love with his wife when he’s about to lose her coz the current NSY didn’t remember the intense love she had for him anymore haha and he didn’t like it that she forgot him😆 I love that she focused on living her life well now, making money on her own etc
some parts really did kinda remind me of GMP, but this one a lighter version. I like it so far and I’m going to stay till the end for the leads. NSY’s identity is still mysterious to me.

such a good romcom, thai movies always nailed romcon with very realistic touch. I really enjoyed this movie. Both leads nailed their characters, so did the supporting characters.

wth is the ending? lol I’m already so upset they made Yoon Kyunsang ended that way but the plot holes in the end irritated me even more. I watched this for Lim Jiyeon & YKS, plus for the thriller. I know the dude who killed Jihyun & Charlie from the last min ending but who’s that woman who’s sipping tea in the end? The true mastermind? or was it actually Jina? If it’s Jina, I will be even more upset lol
I will rate this 6.5/10, for a thriller is a bit boring tbh and I hate that they used that cliche ‘detective stuffs divided into 2 teams with different ranking and their case was suddenly handed over to the other capable team’ trope. I like LJY/YKS chemistry, they’re just not meant to be tho🙃
The dad was so annoying, so biased. I felt bad for Jina even tho she also had her own issues.
Overall, this ended with many plot holes. It gave hints for 2nd season but I don’t think this drama was popular enough for 2nd season? LJY blew up with The Glory now so maybe there’s some hope idk

I agree with you. In cdrama land, ‘idol drama’ is different from ‘idol drama’ being used in kdrama land. I think the others who commented in this comment thread mixed it up. In cdrama land, idol drama is not necessarily a bad thing or a diss. There are high qualities idol dramas with high popularity and viewers in China. Not just those dramas that often get criticized by cnetz.
In kdramaland, ‘idol drama’ is indeed referred to bad quality and acting drama.

The class of #1 & #2 ranking of their acting academy, their teachers must be so proud to see them. I wish for many awards for both of them especialy CXX. And may this show blows up even bigger than now.

yup they’re very fated couple. It also speaks a lot about how much these sisters love each other. They chose their significant others with same personalities as their own twins haha
It’s easier to fall in love with men that have the same traits as the people so dear to them.
