They really have the best character and relationship developments, while helping each other to accept themselves. YQ’s hugging his child version and ending up hugging himself was one of the most awesome scenes in this drama and overall in drama to me, it’s so meaningful

I’m on ep12 and I’m annoyed at the Void walkers realm trying to steal credit from Heavenly Realm and rule the 4 realms without much effort, just trying to steal when Youqin is sealing Guixiu🙄
Void Tyrant has 3 sons, why don’t he send one of his sons to cultivate perfect celestial body like Youqin and be the one who seals Guixiu and sacrifices? I can’t support them even tho I don’t like Heavenly Emperor as well. The Emperor should thank Yetan who saved his sorry a** by stalling the time. Heavenly Realm has better family and siblings bonding, minus the Emperor.
Void walkers have internal feud among themselves, it will be a disaster if they lead the 4 realms while having 3 sons fighting for throne like that. Void tyrant king is looking cool tho, he’s more suave than his 3 sons lol

you do you but I hate drama/movie that direspect others. I know how Africa really is, so I found them nonsense with the opening scenes. China is just being high & mighty with their ‘helping poor countries’ facade. I want to escape reality by watching fictional stuffs but Africa and the people are not fictional. It’s hard for me to ignore the fact and the ignorance of the whole team shooting that. I can’t keep my eyes close for nonsense like that lol

nahh I will be so mad if drama/movie potrayed my country like this. It will be a huge issue if this drama is on Netflix or something. Like what happened to Suriname goverment on Narco-Saints kdrama. I have seen this a lot on cdramas yet they get easy pass because cdramas are not as popular as kdramas. I don’t support this kind of low quality lazy research on countries they’re shooting at.

not even a chance, I already rolled my eyes at the opening scene of rebels on ep1. As if Africa is that chaotic or poor. I’m not even African and I’m annoyed. I want to watch for Wang Churan but I guess not, dropped lol

If this drama is as popular as kdrama, it will get backlash right off the bat from ep1. The poor potrayal fo Africa as always. Africans will be mad watching this drama. Kdramas that tried to paint Africa like this got so much backlash. I wish dramas will be more respectful to the foreign countries they’re shooting drama at smh

I’m halfway into this drama, the beginning part was quite engaging imo…the appearance of the goddess in alien-like form was different from other cdramas I had watched which is interesting. I love daughter-father relationship of LL & her doting father, they really have that chemistry as loving family that anyone will get jealous of.
LL & ML Yuan Yi are both described as very young so yes I understand the restriction on skinship but their cute chemistry is there. Sweet young couple. We can totally see them both crushing on each other. It’s funny to see LL’s father being so hostile towards YY, he even told YY that he can be a brother to LL since he’s a nice kid, but not as lover & LOL YY’s reaction when he said that when he’s so looking forward to the father’s approval of his relationship with LL😂
When LL’s father Huotu Xin was treating YY like that, HX got the same hostile treatment from Yin Xiao, as the brother of Yin Zhuang who supposed to be his love interest. This whole combo is funny to watch in the middle of their adventurous journey searching for the truth.
I also look forward to the real truth about this whole goddess thingy and the plague that happened 17yrs ago.
I have another 20eps to finish, I will write another one once I finished. So far I found the story engaging and interesting, I did skip some tho lol

Towards the ending, it’s good for romance and they gave good detailed ending for the couple so I’m satisfied.

hang on there, yes it will get better. Until she was betrayed by Tang Huan, she will realize how dumb she is lol wait till the moment her hair turned white and they will go back to fenghua village…the romance will get better there as the questions we all have unfolded.

The love bridge scene was so magically gorgeous but I understand Yetan, no matter how beautiful is the bridge, I will be too scared to cross it as a mortal being😂 Youqin literally dragged her to cross it lol you both are destined couple by the heaven.

Ikr she acted like most wuxia/xianxia FL in the beginning before character development, childish young girl who will later blossom into mature woman. Her acting is okay so far, I have found even more annoying popular FLs before her. To see all the people complaining and comparing it to other characters I found very annoying or behave the same as FL in this drama, I’m confused because those other characters are behaving almost the same, if not more annoying than this FL lol
It’s as if they’re purposedly targeting the actress.

The father is more good looking than his princes😂

I’m on ep1 and sold! I really like FL so far, I actually start watching for her. She’s good in her previous works I had watched and as expected of her, she’s also good here. Li Landi let’s go!
I had watched Chen Xing Xu on GMP, still one of my top favs till now. I only have complain about his real voice used in this😆 but he’s really like 2900yrs old grandpa minus his appearance. I laughed so hard when FL questioning whether his ‘thing’ can still work lmao she’s hillarious & cunning, I love her!

I can already see Li Landi the FL will get so much bigger from this show, I know she’s good from her previous works I had watched but this drama will definitely make her more well known. She’s doing great so far. She’s freaking pretty at that.

BIG YES! Very satisfying ending, no rushing and just very nice

Just finished the drama and the ending is so satisfying! I want to applaud such a detailed ending, one of the most satisfying in costume cdramas. Once they got together, the confession etc the romance is so sweet. I will never shut up over how visually stunning is FL/ML together, like such two gorgeous people. Bai Yue and Ye Xi are so compatible looking. The final episode is not rushing and they focus on the romance which is good, I laughed so hard when BY actually pretended to vomit blood to woo her, so not Bai Yue of him lol
Overall I think the drama is good for someone who wants something light and the romance got better around 8-9 towards the ending. Once they made confession, they have a lot of sweet moments and skinship. A lot of kissing, that’s for sure.
