lol you haven’t seen much cdramas if you think they’re ‘not naughty’. Some have really sizzling scenes. Of course the censorship include everything, not just women. Have you watched new cdrama after the new censorship? Especially for big IP dramas with traffic leads. They will be even more strict.
I think being disgusting was what the role called for, the more disgusting, the more effective :)

oh my FL is so pretty from new actresses I have seen so far. Like she has the elegence and beauty, not bad acting for a rookie too. She’s even prettier than some top actresses. I wish she will get better projects in the future. I know ML in this drama is currently rising star from The Autumn Ballad.

lmao I just want to say you sum this up very well but strangely enough, the combination worked for this drama. I think it’s because of the believable acting especially from FL.
Zhou Yutong is hella pretty here, I remember wathing this and liking her chemistry with Neo Hou but the ending was so wtf Now both are popular actors, can we get s2😭
This is like dream pairing tbh very compatible since both are two young talented actors & both were child actors! Zhao Jinmai truly impressed me on Reset, one of the best cdramas on my list, like a good leap for cdrama. While Wu Lei, I have been a big fan since The Long Ballad. If they do this right, this drama can be HUGE
She’s a child actress so her acting skill is really good. Her 2022 drama Reset was one of the best 2022 drama in China, she’s also very popular after that. I become her big fan because of Reset. I’m so excited that she’s working with Wu Lei. I have been a fan of him since The Long Ballad😌
This is a highly recommended drama by me! Like it’s really good, like a new leap for modern cdrama! The acting by Bai Jingting & Zhao Jin Mai are so good, high quality production with acting from everyone. I like how they connected social issues in this drama, brilliantly. They’re mostly shooting inside the bus but it’s not boring at all with the way they keep being on loop. I’m a big fan of Zhao Jin Mai now, such a young talented actress, very pretty too. Bai Jingting really picked good dramas, like he got streak of good dramas!
I like the possible pairinng, Zhao Jinmai & Dylan Wang. Both are young talented actors but maybe not for this Paladin drama, it won’t do well tbh too many sequel, prequel. It will just get buried by og. Pick other dramas.
Unchained Love stans, don’t get your hope high. Dylan Wang & Yukee won’t be a pair here. Yukee will be with Zheng Kai (I like him too) & Dylan will be with another actress idk her name, not listed here. Dylan & Yukee are just co-workers here lol
I have given many praises to this drama but I want to give credit to the production team for making this A level budget drama justice with the cinematography of the scenes, this drama didn’t look cheap at all imo. They made great shots of the places used in the drama. The costumes are nicely designed too, Xiao Duo and Bu Yinlou’s outfits are pretty looking. The cuts are unfortunate due to censorship but production did all they can with the budget. Great efforts!
The scariest thing about new censorship is, be prepared that we gonna get so many cuts especially on romance part aka minimal skinship. TLP missed the timing when the censorship wasn’t this strict, many currently aired dramas that went through this new censorship suffered severe editing. The ones I watched currently suffered so much cuts to the point it affected the plot & scenes😭 I have been waiting for TLP for so long, it’s sad to know what’s coming. Especially when they have traffic actor like Xiao Zhan in it, they will get even more strict. I wish the cuts will at least make sense, not a hindrance to the plot.

exactly! I don’t like watching too long cdramas. I was relieved that cdramas need to cut down to 36 now after censorship etc but this drama makes we wanting more, I wish it’s longer because I want to watch more Xiao Duo-Bu Yinlou😌

they have some very hot kissing scenes on the cuts tho😏 but if you can understand why they have the cuts etc, I’m just so thankful they actually approved this on the 3rd submission of approval. The eunuch love in the palaca with a concubine is a taboo topic. I just found their romance is still sizzling with the cuts, or maybe my mind is already mixed with all the cuts I watched since I did watch it all while it’s still airing lol

nah It’s like you’re watching different drama from us. She did suspect him to be interested in her way earlier than the others, even when her own maid called her delusional. She started to realize when she moved into Xiao’s residence. She realized way faster than other FL in cdrama, you don’t watch much cdramas if you claimed her to be clueless. She’s a total different breed.
