On Save Me Season 2 May 10, 2019
I haven't seen any episodes yet but I can already tell that it's not gonna be as good as the first season. The actors they cast aren't as good and there's only so many times you can use the same plotline: "Fake prophet tricks churchgoers into forking over their money so that they can obtain a place in heaven." What else is new.

In my opinion, they should have just continued where Season 1 left off, focusing on the lives of the displaced members as they gravitate towards an even BIGGER cult in a more developed city. The reason why S1 was so great was because there were so many overlapping stories from multi-dimensional characters. I doubt S2 will deliver the same performance if their entire storyline is a recycled one.

I'm kind of finding myself falling behind on this one. Not for a lack of interest but I think I might have to…
I'm literally at that point right now too because its like I don't wanna miss out on a good drama but I also don't need all that sadness and murder in my life, especially involving such a sensitive subject

Person Lee Seo Won
He screwed up his acting career before it even took off which sucks because he was a legitimate actor. Oh well, time's up and the #metoomovement is officially in Korea.

I can't even watch this movie-twenty minutes in and its already too much for my innocent eyes. This is way too gruesome and raw, nope, can't do it. Not even for LJS.

The number of cameos in this movie though ~ Side note: Can anyone tell me how the main female lead was able to come back into their lives again? I think that there is no logical explanation for how she was able to come back but I thought I'd ask anyway because the movie left me confused at the end. If anyone knows where they filmed this movie (Incheon?), please comment as well! ~

Ok so in a perfect world, the whole "grandma-knows-but-daughter-doesn't-know" scenario wouldn't make sense but in a parallel universe, it would make a lot of sense (in the eyes of the writers anyway). If Joo Hyuk was still married to Woo Jin, and Woo Jin's mom had Alzheimer's, Joo Hyuk's mother-in-law would probably not be able to recognize him as her son-in-law. But in a parallel universe, if Woo Jin's mom has Alzheimers and Woo Jin and Joo Hyuk were never married, her illness would allow her to somehow recognize Joo Hyuk for who he truly is (or was). This reasoning is spotty of course, because we all know that Alzheimer's doesn't allow you to somehow develop psychic abilities. Ie. It only affects the previously stored memories, not the memories that you never had to begin with.

Not only is this one of the most pure and innocent dramas that I have ever seen, it is (in my opinion) the best drama of 2018 by far. I have watched over 15 different dramas this year but nothing comes close to this. If you are contemplating whether or not you should watch this, in the words of my favorite character in the show, "Don't think, Feel!" ~

Hye Jin and Ha Ri was a dead-ass sismance and I was 100% here for it! Especially when the entertainment world always pits female leads against each other. Hwang Jung Eun was already my favorite actress but when she was paired with Go Joon Hee, I was girl crushing hard! <3

I gotta disagree with you on 'Come and Hug Me'. The main characters in that drama were so poorly developed that I found myself preferring the second leads (ie. the main character's brother and sister) over the mains. The writers did not put much thought into the romance of the main leads at all. Their relationship was centered around this one tragedy that they shared together from their childhood and if we're being honest with ourselves, a relationship based on tragedy is both unstable and unhealthy.

And that showed throughout the drama as well: Half the time, they were crying and holding each other and crying some more. They may have liked each other in their teens but that did not carry over into their adulthood. When the kids "grew up" and the adult characters took over, they really had no personality outside of this shared traumatic experience. I would have preferred to see the teen actors because at least their characters were portrayed well.

Side Note: I like Jang Ki Yong and I'm happy to see him as a lead but the dude had so many Jekkyl and Hyde moments that I had to wonder if he was ever able to make sense out of his character. I also just felt like he was being baby'ed too much by the female lead. (She's the one who had her whole family killed and yet you're the one constantly crying!) At the same time, it is kind of a breath of fresh air to see a drama depict that men can be comforted too.......

I might be late to this ...i am in episode 2 in fact but I honestly don't like the personality of the liven intrest…
That's what makes her character so great though! She's not this sweet and honest heroin that you can easily fall in love with. She's this dishonest badass who only cares about money and who's not afraid to show you her flaws. The imperfections of her character actually make you ponder how the male lead will fall for her.
