This movie was so well acted and put together so well, I mean please give the leading lady Yoo Sun an Oscar right now because she was gold!
On Remember: War of the Son Feb 22, 2016
First of all, I just want to say that Nam Gung Min freaking killed it, like please give that man an award for best villain right now!!! His acting was superb, he just made the show for me. At times, I was watching just to see what he would do next! Overall, I think the show could have been better as there were a few inconsistencies and setbacks that I just personally did not like. Yoo Seung Ho did well as a son fighting for his father's justice, but some of the episodes were anti-climatic and uneventful. Thankfully, they were able to keep my attention for the last four episodes and refocus on the storyline. If this were a paper, I'd give a B- .

I personally hate the ones that have gender benders because it makes me so mad to see the male lead with conflicting feelings toward the love interest. Plus it stretches out the drama and makes the process of everyone finding out the girl's true identity, a grueling and torturous one. One cliche that never gets old in dramas is the male lead never being able to live up to his father's standards, and if we're really lucky, ends up developing some sort of sickness because of it. I don't know, I personally love dramas that deal with mental illnesses (which is why I love 'It's Okay, That's Love' so much!!!).

I feel you on all these pretty much, I stopped watching KSH's drama after the second episode because I was bored to tears and because of his drab personality. But you forgot to add in probably one of the most overrated dramas of all time-HEIRS! I seriously for the life of me can not figure out why people like that drama! Between the bad acting, the predictable plot, the annoying English-speakers, and worst of all Lee Min Ho's never-ending ugly sweater collection-that drama was one of the worst shows ever made! I tried to force myself to get through it for some of the supporting actors, but I eventually stopped because watching it gave me a headache!
its actually a really good drama special but i think that it definitely has an acquired taste depending on your tolerance level for the moments of dead silence or the occasional inconsistencies in the character development. personally i was hooked from start to finish, although at times i questioned what i was even watching (lol). its very hard to describe the central theme because even though its masked as this drama about having to deal with a murderer in a school or figuring out who sent the letter, its actually more focused on the actual lives of all the characters more than anything. should it be known as a psychological drama? i don't know about that. throwing in a psychologist doesn't make it a psychological show but i will say there are a few aspects of it that do involve psychology. either way, it definitely deserves a spot on your drama list!

She is too freaking gorgeous for all these second leads! Amazing singer and actress, and she has a killer bod-this chick needs to be front and center! I'm watching her in 'School 2015' now and I'm just like why is she not the main character though?!! Serious second lead syndrome-female edition!!!

this drama was lacking in so many areas to be honest. the main characters were inconsistent and the plot was pretty predictable even for a k-drama. i only gave it four stars because although it was entertaining enough to keep me watching, the more i thought about it the more i realized that it was really just a shortened version of 'warm and cozy' (although the latter was ten times better). i think this drama's only saving grace was the fact that it was partially centered around the complexities of dealing with an ex-lover and all the baggage that comes with them. other than that, there was really nothing else that made it stand out as a k-drama and at times it seemed like it was borderline-soap opera.

This movie was so freaking good. Period. Like every one needs to see this movie. I was touched by it in more ways than one and I was given a movie experience that I have not had in a very long time. There was both beauty and pain in the ending, but the most important aspect is that even though it is a fictional film, the lives of the characters will live on forever in our hearts.

Good watch. It definitely exceeded my expectations for a k-drama. It started off really funny but it actually covered a really deep subject matter. The writers bent a lot of the rules and did a lot of neat things with the script. It is ridiculously hilarious in the beginning, and then as you watch it, it starts to become less funny and more serious. I didn't think that I would like that approach at first but I soon came to realize that I liked the characters enough to learn more about their back story. It was such a sensitive topic and neither the promo or the preview prepares you for any of it. I just really love that the things that happened to the female lead usually never happen to female leads in k-dramas-but that just goes to show you that life is not all fun and games. I laughed, I cried, but all in all I would say that the cast and crew did a good job.

I also just wanna say that I love the main female lead. I came for Choi Woo Shik but I stayed for her cause she is so freaking gorgeous! Her beauty is so unique and natural, that I was just gawking at her the whole time. New girl crush fo sure!

I completely agree with you, his character is so complex that it is very hard to put into words. I also feel that his struggles and the conflicts that are in his life is something that only he can understand because he doesn't have an ordinary conflict like death or a traumatic event. He definitely has many layers to him. Solid review!

Congratulations to Choi Woo-Shik for having won Best New Actor award for this film at the Wildflower Festival.
He deserved it to be honest! His acting was so freaking good and he depicted his character so well! To see him go from playing a measly prosecutor in pride and prejudice to this raw and genuine character was night and day! He is seriously the real deal!

This was such a beautifully done series to say that it only lasted for 5 episodes. The whole thing was well constructed and it will definitely take you by surprise because it is not what it appears to be. And to get to the end and realize that the whole series was a PSA was just the icing on the cake for me! You will be crying though, so make sure you have tissues handy!
Ceki Nov 11, 2015
yeah I only saw him in 'noble, my love' and he's hot and everything but that's pretty much it. His acting was one of the reasons why I stopped watching it so I'm reluctant to watch any of his other dramas. He's actually a little TOO perfect for me if that makes sense! That being said, I will probably watch 6 Persons in a Room cause I love traumatic stuff like that.
