This trope should have been done around ep no 17-20. She should have taken some clinical therapy and never should have started this relationship. SY being with her pushed her to accept her feelings. He is around her most of the time and this did result in her being indirectly obligated to reciprocate his feelings. Now when she has to face past, she's engaging her defense mechanism by running away. She would ofc not trust SY because they never had a meaningful insightful conversation on this. Although, SY does seem caring but he's too involved for her to let him in her space.

If the aim of the show is portray dealing with these situations, it could have been done in a better way. Also, introducing this trope at ep no 25 is pretty late for a convincing closure. They will wrap her overcoming her trauma in like 2-3 episodes, which is unfortunate.

I believe this could have been a masterpiece of drama with older leads and characters (something like Meet Yourself).

Treat them as siblings. Also, she never touched him or said anything that defied her love.

Everything we see is from TMS's perspective as he is hoping there would be some signs from her, but there wouldn't any.

They have lost the momentum. Last 5 episodes would be dragged. The potential for main couple remains under utilised, especially XXC-MXL dynamic. I'm not sure if these events are mentioned in novel if it's getting dragged out.

They need to finish off past storyline by tom's ep or by half of the next one or else as usual we might have 10 mins of HE/SE, whatever path they are going for... Most likely HE, after all this tug-of-war.

Good if you like power fantasy and non-stop action. You can also read manhwa for details and side stories.

I agree at some of those points. The only ml who did not let himself to be trampled even from his beloved was from It's Okay That's Love, based on what I've seen so far.

But there are people who are just in such way. It's an instinctive defense mechanism for some and an excuse to move forward for others.

You can read about 'Dark Triad Attraction'. Usually, this is used to garner attention for a certain section of audience. It usually occurs on either gender, but for some reason most of these dramas do it for the FL. And it makes sense since majority of viewers are female.

I don't think this genre is stupid. My point is that this genre is incapable of defining proper characterization. Every personal is some reincarnation of something and something. It's a web that traps itself.

Especially this novel. It has built a story around 3 major characters along with their multiple versions. I've read a lot litrpgs and cultivation novels, but there should be some consistency when it comes to write a progression.

I don't really agree with your opinion of acknowledgement. Although it's human nature to pity but also stems the opportunity for retrieval of similar occurences.
