I think the main motive of the drama was to show that none of the police work is small or insignificant. You will see that she is more confident, stress free and handling her cases in really good manner. And since she was the only one offical police ( except her there were some auxiliary police) who made the decision, she was more responsible and felt like a team leader. So, it showed her work was really significant and she was able to help public in her own way.
