If i would have mother like xia jie, I would have lost all my hair until now due to stress. I never knew how anyone's presence can make your blood boil. She always says that she is a decent lady but arguing with her own daughter on road is never something a sensible women would do. I hate her so much. Even though they might try to change her arc in later episodes, noone can change my thoughts about her. She and Dr wu are basically the same person with different faces.

And even in the viewing charts it has topped until now. And its heat index has reached 8800. It is expected to cross 9k which also shows it is pretty popular in china. And if you see the tv ratings, the response has been well on cctv8 and that's why cctv1 has given one slot for ordinary greatness which means it is influencing Chinese audience.

Actually her company stereotyped her because she was successful in certain dramas. They were reluctant to experiment with her roles and looks. Pretty good for her that she took her solo path and is trying to transform her image.

I am happy she is a part of the show where there are so many seasoned actors. Her real life temperament is completely different from what she has portrayed in the drama. Moreover it is really great that she got the chance to be part of larger audience with TV broadcast (CCTV1 is also going to broadcast this drama). I would never want any story to ruin just because they focus on only person whose story might not be relevant. What is better than any actor that even in the smallest of screentime they can make everyone feel their presence.

Actually i have seen some parents who actually behaves like that. They just like to control kids and always blame others for spoiling their kid even though there is some fault in their own parenting. Even xia jie's mom is similar she always blames other cadets for making her daughter work hard and don't trust anyone. I think this is some kind of psychological issue and they need therapy.

Moreover it mainly deals with the social issue the kind of people/ police we might encounter. There are some bizarre law whose enforcement is actually difficult. These can piss you off but the drama honestly represents how they try to enforce the law instead of showing group of 4 people doing heroic stuff without getting shot. They show the mistakes and issues within the society and police system. If you won't highlight the issues there won't be solution for that ever

I think most of the people have been influenced by series showing the normal police/ civilian can actually work above the law. They will just collect all the fingerprints and catch the criminal from anywhere but the most important thing about this drama is that they are not heroic. For the peace of large population like my country or china where the police to civilian ratio is very less, that's why their own safety is of utmost priority and providing peace to the society. They work as a mediator to the parties who complaint and on whom FIR is made. Don't expect it be just or heroic because it deals with daily struggle and lives unlike the crime branch. There is whole lot difference between civil and criminal police.

Li da Wei actually rules the screen whenever he is available on-screen. As for xia jie, i hope she gets her own case where she will be able to shine. May be her fear of blood could be addressed in some next episode. Initially when I saw that there are 38 episodes I wondered how will they add up so many stories. Now i feel that we should get more episodes to get closure from every character 😿

Exactly for the first time in this drama I fast forwarded in that scene. I am feeling bad for his wife only. She will have to suffer a lot after this. I hope they won't show him getting back as a cop.

Yes of only 10 episodes left, I hope she could get her own case to shine but there are too many characters to focus on. So, it's pretty difficult to share screen time with everyone unlike idol dramas.
