Yes because that time touch screen was not there and in 2011 it was started to emerge but not all could afford that. Plus cost of one single text msg was high. So 5-6 text msg and ur whole recharge is gone. That's why that time couple used to purchase couple msg pack.

Tbh DH had plot. Just had flaws in writing as there was no stillness in that story. Here there is no story. It's crazy if u think how can one make drama without having writers decide what they want to show exactly? Compared to this i think even vertical dramas can be qualified as masterpiece. I personally think I have too much to watch both in Bl and straight drama side along with full time job and pursuing masters degree. I have no time to spare in this garbage. 😅😂

Ikr. I don't understand why it's only 8.2? Atleast 8.4 makes sense. Even NES has 8.6 which has more plot holes than this drama. I guess fluffy fairy tales sells more than realistic love story. The only criticism I can take and agree from this drama is that they actually showed a lot of auditing which can come as off point for ones who are seeking complete romance drama and some draggy unusual plot of FL using ex bf to make ml jealous. But at the end it still contributes heavily to the main story. But then most of the audience who are not aware of auditing thing when this drama actually wants it's audience to be clever in this area can be one of the reasons so as to ques why this whole auditing is major here and can come out as boring and draggy.
No where near. Except that miao jing and chen yi had sibling bond earlier which they never acknowledged. Even that also differs in speed and love where they actually considered themselves as brother and sister then story took forn of love. Love for u is completely based on poor family bg and two people finding love and home in each other. And speed and love is from rich fl and poor ml.

Woww...am at ep17. And wow just wow. Chen yi's breakdown was so emotional. I mean it's a clear signal no one can hurt miao jing. Don't ever dare to cross a line with her. We got to know how traumatised chen yi is. I mean he initially fought to save miao jing. But when he was beating him later his monstrous side from his dark past came into light. But he was touching his body like he want to make the dirt off from his body. It looks something dark has seeped inside his soul. But the next min he was scared what if he has scared miao jing. The whole potryal was done soo good. This is SWL best work. What a script.
Plus I have to appreciate the fact that how beautifully this drama has converged all auditing thing with the main plot. I mean writers could have made miao jing go for diff job but they chose auditing and they chose miao jing to be the team leader. Looks like fate finally has decided that it's enough. These two people need a good life after all these hardships.
They wrote a script where they showed how zhang bin is the mastermind. He claim to play by rules but infact he is just a sleeping demon who push all the blame to zhai who got exposed long back and took chen yi help to assist him in jin country. He knew he can't trust chen yi so he made him involved deep into the mess so that he can never go back to the normal life. Plus something did very dark happened in jin country. Will wait to see what exactly. Then writers keep things waited till miao jing completed graduation and have strong backing from her boss in auditing. They made miao jing enough powerful to expose the huoyang logistics dirty business. Then they intentionally matched the timeline to make the huoyang logistics go public and claim ipo and then the contract for auditing went to where miao jing is working. She was already given experience and context. She is clever enough not perfect but enough to gather evidence and make the whole business and zhang bin crumble. And that will eventually led to free chen yi from that person forever.
I mean i need to appreciate this series for one reason. I never knew that auditing before going ipo is this imp for the public. It's an info that will be useful in real life.
Plus wow the way script is written about whole smuggling and dirty business and how auditing expose it. First they showed how zhang bin pool bar business was on surface good but inside it deals with counterfeit of liquor, then they have investment business where the construction projects were known for money embezzlement. Then they have tax invasion crimes by setting up shell companies then they have logistics company where they take money from user in order to purchase and import high quality good and scam them by selling cheap duplicate version so as to earn illegal money. Plus this commercial logistics contract so basically their public offering itself is based on illegal activities. Plus logistics also is the basis to provide transportation and fast network to support all these illegal activities. Plus to support and in order to get past with this auditing as necessity formality they bought project lead to side with them basically corruption under miao jing's auditing team. I agree if this kind of company gets ipo that company will only become powerful to do further illegal activities and harm more people. And chen yi can alone never be able to expose this and take down this. Both police and miao jing plus chen yi as witness has to work in order to make it work. Because when green life scam happened, zhang bin and zhai name was never came into pic when in reality they are the mastermind behind that scam instead green life company had to bear the responsibility by making their own employees go to jail. Ik miao jing mother was not innocent but here she was pawn who got victimised in this bg dirty thing going on. Then whole tax investigation thing when the investigation was looking like they are in fire and they can't escape it, they used chen yi to burn down whole investigation office to make the case closed.
This is some clever writing where healing is the core of romance but even facing dangers is also done so rationally. I am just amazed.
Then u have yichen's brother manipulation game.and not to forget Yichen himself. Lufeng sister was also against that she used to think this is just passing cloud relationship 😂.
Yichen himself is the problem. yichen was way too cowardly to announce that lufeng is his bf. Zhu sha and his friend knew because they accidentally discovered. Otherwise if he was that courageous then he would have talked to his mother atleast once in his lifetime when things were calm or if his mother was hard to deal then he could have introduced lufeng as his bf in college reunion. Or could have atleast said to Zhou lan that he is committed atleast when she proposed him in college reunion.
SO In short insecurities that lufeng had was valid. Lufeng used to fight alone always. In school days yichen did tried to talk to his parents but again in school office it was lufeng who was protecting him with all the eyes of people and their talk. It was always lufeng. That's why lufeng always used to say idk what u think about me? What is ur feelings towards me? Even when they were together. Because yichen never gave him any sense of security. One problem and he will leave everything and leave lufeng.
Just be honest here. Yichen never fought. Except in their first time separation. Whatever the reason is he closed off, he had fear and what not. Truth and fact remains same.

Ok....and so what exactly is the plot here? Two people coming together and realising that they are in love? Ok till ep5 it's done. But after that? What's next? I see no dangers involved here, romance comes quickly and so for what i should watch this drama? I mean i need a plot. Apart from these two confessing, making out then again push and agreeing they are in love what's there to see?
Core issue is the homophobia and not anyone's father. Otherwise even if both father were dead didn't they still had bad ending? Then u have society as well. When lufeng and yichen were in relationship, yichen hardly introduced lufeng as his bf to the world. They were never in the same page. I hate to say it but lufeng have always loved yichen more. Because of whatever reasons. At least in drama
I binged watched till ep8 and i strongly feel that something is missing in this drama. I can't tell what? But it's lacking the impact it should have left on me. Also i think the script is completely scattered. I am not understanding what is this story trying to tell us.
