i didn't think their relationship should be romantic.they have passed that stage.their romantic side is when they…
Yes, it seems like that's the direction the story is going. We might be proven wrong, but so far it definitely feels that way.
Too bad, I had a different expectation from this drama. More like a second chance romance. But the story seems more directed toward mutual healing. This is not necessary a bad thing. Dramas can have different genres. This drama is trying itself in romance genre, healing genre, and melodrama genre. It seems like it is failing in all of these categories. The writer somehow messed up the whole thing by diverting it from viewers expectation from these genres. It is still a good drama though with good visuals, music and actors. But the story and the characters feel a bit messy and disjointed.
Episode 5 was okay. Nothing much happened in the present timeline, it almost felt like a filler. The more I watch, the more I feel like ML and FL won’t end up together in the end. The ending might be like ML finally letting go of his obsession with FL and moving on with his life, while FL overcomes her trauma and moves past her uncertain feelings about ML.
Honestly, for some reason, their present-day dynamic does not give any romantic chemistry. It feels more like bickering friends. I really wanted this drama to be good and had high hopes for it. I still hope it improves, but the current vibe isn’t promising.
It looks like the story will now shift toward FL’s divorce closure, new scandals, and company politics nonsense. All we wanted was a solid second-chance romance, but it feels like we might not get that.
My hunch is that ML will stay and help FL heal & get her back into the company.
Yes, you are correct. ML's life is pretty stable now. But he is still emotionally very attached to FL. Sometimes it even feels a bit unhealthy, like how he is still wearing the red shirt. Considering how unstable FL still is, he might end up getting hurt again. A third heartbreak could be even worse than the second. I'm not sure how things should work out for both of them. It is a romance drama and two of them are the main characters. Of course, they will be together at some point in the story. But I think they need a small separation at some point in the story, maybe after getting back together. It could be for a few months or a year. ML should learn not to be overly obsessed with FL and FL should learn not to take ML for granted. Still, FL's recovery from her trauma should be the first priority for the story, and ML is needed for that.
Also just thinking while watching this one it's got to be a refreshing change for the folks who hate how alcohol…
I was surprised how many cans of beer and bottles of liquor FL drank in episode 3, lol. At least its a good change in this drama. They are actually presenting alcohol in a negative way, unlike most other kdramas.
Men only do 2 things. They either rape the woman they like or wait for that woman until their deathbed. They don't…
Tbh, this is a problem with most recent Kdrama writers. They just can't write male characters properly. Male characters are either the absolute worst or these unrealistically perfect fantasy characters. Both extremes feel pathetic in a normal sense. There is no in-between in their characterization. This drama has the exact same issue.
I wish we had more episodes available and we didn't have to wait 6 more days. Anyway, another good episode today. A lot of things are coming up. ML is going away for a year of training and FL will most likely take over the family company. Maybe we will have a one-year time skip. Surely we have more dramas coming up. I just hope they get together soon, overcoming all the difficulties they have. Another thing I wish is that they would make ML character less pathetic. The screenwriter is really doing him an injustice. Anyway, the 1 week wait begins now.
Episode 3 was great. I really like the development so far. They clearly still like each other. I hope they get together soon. But for some reason, I can't shake the feeling that the drama might not give them a happy ending. They really deserve a happy ending on their third chance. I don't think I can handle the heartbreak if it doesn't happen 😭😭
Any guesses who will ultimately get the offer form JunAn?
My guess is Jiya Tong and Li Ke. ML's dad opening a new branch in Beijing definitely has a purpose. Both Jiang Chen's parents want him to join his fathers company. At least he would join in the Beijing branch. Xiao Yu might join there or move to some other firm. Also if you consider senior lawyers, one of Song Fan and Bai Xiao can move to beijing branch, my guess is Song Fan.
No not all melodramas have sad ending like secret love … her father died but she was with ml lead at the end…
Yeah, most likely it will be a happy ending but with some deaths involved. FL's sister will probably die. Maybe something will happen to her mom, or maybe the company. Whatever it is, as long as they are together, it is fine by me.
The first episode was okay. A bit more comedic side. I expected something different from the same writer who wrote The Devil Judge. That was a great drama. Hopefully, this one turns out to be as good, and maybe even includes slight romance.
The first episode was good, but I'm not sure I can handle all the melodrama that's coming. I also came across a random youtube interview where FL mentioned that the ending is both happy and sad depending on how you see it. That doesn't sound good. I really don't want to sit through all this melodrama only to get an unsatisfactory ending 😭😭
Damn, 2ML is just the worst character in this drama. He is trying to use the misunderstandings between the main couple to his advantage, while also flirting with 2FL. He is manipulating everyone. He should not deserve anybody. At this point, there should not be any kind of redemption for him
This is honestly a bit frustrating. Episode 15 and still the same repetitive things keep happening. Just want this drama to be over quickly. It's a pity, it had so much potential, but somehow missed the opportunity. Still a good drama overall, though my expectations were a bit higher.
So, is Tae Poong moving his office to Nam Mo's restaurant? It looked that way in the preview. Really hope they return to Korea soon. Thailand arc episodes are not the best and the drama felt a bit slow in today's episode. Need them go back to Korea quickly.
