Surprisingly good and funny for a low budget web drama!!

Let's hope this drama will be good. The last 3-4 weekend dramas were massive disappointments.

Expected something out of this drama. And I knew right away that I need to keep my expectation near zero when both ML and FL were offering money for touching each other. Absurdity reached its peak in the first 2 episodes. Don't know who wrote this.

"Middle part draggy" is probably the worst claim one could make for this drama. The middle part or late middle part was the peak of this drama. You can't blame others. Many people have the tendency to fast forward or skip and only try to look for romantic or melodramatic scenes. So, in this drama they might get disappointed and make this kind of claim.

Actually, It gets more interesting in the middle, and middle part or late middle part is probably the peak of this drama. Those who claimed something like draggy probably did not watch the drama properly. Or probably only looking for romantic scenes. The drama has a lot to offer not only romance. If you are only looking for romance, you might miss 70-80% of what drama has to offer.

I am also trying to watch different kinds of dramas. Honestly, Meet Yourself set such a high bar, you can't find the same in other dramas no matter how big and how popular the other drama is. Those dramas are very good but still can't meet your expectation. So, it is better to watch some different types of dramas and cool down a bit. But just like you, from time to time I ended up rewatching some episodes of Meet Yourself, lol.

I would suggest taking a break for a few weeks and then watching Go Ahead. Although they are from the same writers and same production team. They hit differently. The theme is similar. But still, they are different. There are some drama elements in Go Ahead. But Meet Yourself is all natural and realistic. So, they are not comparable. Go Ahead is still one of the best Cdramas. But watching it just after Meet Yourself is probably not the best idea. I would suggest watching some dramas with different genres, like action, adventure. So, you can't compare those with this drama.

Pure and raw emotions from a mother for her child. Such well acting that you could literally feel as herself missing her child for so many years with bearing a lot of struggles and pain only for that moment to meet her child.

A Thousand Goodnights- Taiwanese drama. Slow but very good

Fast forwarding too much will totally kill the enjoyment of the drama. Maybe you give this drama a try one more time someday in the future. You might like it more than you can think.

All the side characters had their moments. Aunt Gui had so many shining moments in this drama. The children, Hulu, Toutou, Huzi all had moment of shining in this drama. Also Aunt Feng will surprise you with her acting in the upcoming episode. In this drama, all the characters showed their worth not only main leads, and main supporting characters.

Yeah, what a surprise! Also surprised by her career turn. She got a CS degree from Harvard. She also worked in Microsoft before. But, now struggling to find her place in the entertainment industry :(. Wish her good luck in this new career.

It was XiaXia's turn to shine in ep 34. What a dialogue. "Don't leave with regrets, If you want to leave then leave happily". This is true for all of us. A lesson for all of us on how to overcome the difficult moments in life.

Had high expectations for this drama. But, what is this weird beginning? A lot of things happened without any coherence. Production quality seemed very poor. Seems like there is no hope for this drama :(

Actually, 1-2 billion views are not that surprising. I don't know how they measure this metric. With 1-2 billion views, the drama might be in the top 50 lists, but not in the top 10 list. I remember the drama "Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms" got over 50 billion views. Whatever it is, this is still a good number.

You hear this complaint so many times for other dramas (no matter if it is 12 episodes,16 episodes, 24 episodes, or 40 episodes). The second half of the drama is dragging or not that much interesting as the first half. In this drama, You can see this drama started slowly. But clearly, the 2nd half is better than the first half. It's up for debate, whether the last quarter (ep30-ep40) might be better than all 3 previous quarters. Overall, the quality of this drama did not drop a single bit but it got increased episode by episode.

Yes, I was also expecting to see new episodes today. But nothing we can do. 8 episodes left. Probably they will release 2 episodes each day from Monday to Thursday and finish the series by the next week.

Behind the Scenes videos of the drama. I watched a few of the videos. I really liked those. I will probably watch the rest during the weekends.

Happy Ending

No chasing or over-dramatic romance in this drama. Their mutual attraction grows over time. It happens very naturally. It's a slow burn. But a very well-done romance. One of the best natural and realistic romances in any drama.
