I really hope that they can re-edit Ep 36, they messed up the BGM at least two times during that episode. It was jarring, but nevertheless doesn't take away from the rest of the otherwise perfect drama.

You're missing out! China does modern dramas the best IMO! I used to think Korea did modern romances better, but nope.

I pick dramas soley based on plot too. Ah, if you did like modern romances I was going to recommend Love's Ambition or Hidden Love since these are where her acting skills shine the brightest. Instead, I would recommend Who Rules The World (wuxia) and Love Like The Galaxy (historical).

What kind of genres or female characters do you like? She has played such a vast variety of roles in diff genres, there might be one that you might like. Let me know and I'll recommend! :)

For me, Zhao Lusi is a talented actress who can successfully play all kinds of different roles, including ones that are different from her own real personality. I really admire her for striving to explore and expand her acting capabilities through these different roles.

At first I thought this was an Edward Guo drama bc the style is so similar (dark, sinister, beautiful CGI and martial arts). I didn't expect it to be Yin Tao at all lol.

Is Su Chang He paired with anyone romantically in this drama?

Lol what accent/dialect are they speaking in? In Ep 1 I couldn't understand Uncle Zhe and Changhe, and I was like "omg is this set to Cantonese or something?" 🤣🤣🤣 I had to double check my audio dub settings. (P.S. My Mandarin professor was from Beijing so I learned the Beijing accent like "nar" hehehe.)

I just searched for it right now, and Youku still remains the only TV app I don't have. WeTV, iQiyi and Viki are all available, not Youku... 😭😭😭

Yeah, Youku doesn't have a TV app (unfortunately), but they do allow screen mirroring (or chromecasting), so I do that instead.

I'm in the USA too. Just search Youku on the app store and you'll find it. On Netflix they are mostly up to date -- with 22 eps available. But Youku has 24 eps right now, so subscribe to Youku to watch the latest eps. Netflix is about one day behind Youku.
