I first saw him in Story of Kunning Palace, and I really liked him with her. When I saw him again in The Double, I thought it would be so cool if he played a badass character like The Double with Bai Lu as the FL. Hopefully they'll have another pairing another time not too far away *fingers crossed*

I liked it bc it was emotional (their friendship / sisterhood), but it wasn't complex or anything.

I don't watch heavy dramas, life is hard enough. Only fun and exciting dramas with happy endings for me.

Me too, I have not seen any editing problems. I have no problem understanding the plot or the characters' motives either.

The only case I liked and cared about was the very first one with the princess. The drama could have ended with that and I would have been ok with it lol.

Omg yes, I feel so bad for the main leads, I'm still watching slowly but trying to finish it just bc I love them both, plus Bai Lu said this is her last action-heavy role. Agreed, it was annoying that the cases were so simple and easy to guess. Makes it worse since there is barely any romance to make it more interesting either.

I've only seen him in When I Fly Towards You, and while he was handsome I wasn't that captivated. But ZYR in this drama...WOOWWW... I'm impressed hehe.

Lol yeah, anyone would go crazy trying to remember who everyone is. I only care about the main ones too.

Love this drama so far, it's a lot more interesting and complex than Unveil: Jadewind, which I had a hard time watching.

Regarding comments saying there are too many characters thrown at the audience: If you just go with the flow and not try to memorize every character they show on screen, the story is much better since you can focus on the plot. The more important characters will show up again and again anyway, so you'll learn who they are eventually.

Does anyone remember how long ago this drama had finished filming?

I felt the story went downhill when they made Gao Haiming lose his memory after his proposal. Acting weirdly got worse too.

This is my first drama with WYW. She does cute and funny scenes well, but she needs to work on emotional scenes. She would only pout to show she was sad and heartbroken, her eyes lacked any sadness that would make you cry. She also had zero romantic chemistry with CXX. I'm open to watching more dramas of hers, but hopefully she improves her acting skills.
