Qian Fei was never on the IPO team, so she isn't under the confidentiality agreement for the contract related to Shanlifang IPO. I was actually referring more to Fang Yun being the one who is noncompliant with the confidentiality agreement since she is actually part of the IPO team but is working with someone outside the IPO team. Even worse, it's not even a Hejing employee.

Additionally, what FL is doing for Fang Yun is illegal in the real world (i.e., doing research work behind the scenes, esp trying to illegally obtain private original data when she has no business right to it since she's not part of the IPO team). These IPO transactions are highly confidential, and everyone involved are required to be under a confidentiality agreement. I get that this is a drama, but I can't stand illogical plots like this. It shows that the author/screenwriter didn't do enough research to write about how investment banking actually works.

ML and FL's relationship is super cute, but after watching Ep 7 I think I might have to drop this bc I can't stand FLs who are naive and easily manipulated, who also need ML to rescue her.

I actually find him to be a very interesting character and I hope he can fight back against those who wronged him when he was young and helpless.

I think Kill Me Love Me is the only other one where I cried a lot and still go back to rewatch their love story.

I agree with you, I had disagreed with people's criticism of GTG too. I personally loved GTG and rank it as one of my top 5 all-time fav dramas.

OMG ME TOOOO. I've never been a fan of theirs bc I felt like their acting was one-dimensional / simple. This is the very first drama that I actually liked where I was impressed by their acting. I'm really glad they took this role so that they could display their improved acting skills and take on more complex characters.
