wow, i totally agree with everything you said, romance in K-dramas has really become too forced and unnatural.…
My thoughts exactly! I haven't been able to make it pass 4 episodes of CLOY XD but I included it because it has some romance. I'm not sure how it was executed so I'll have to try again to know

I also commented in your old article about new dramas lacking the romantic feels. For some reason, they either…
'True love is one that stands against the odds, self-sacrificing and full of yearning and waiting" I COULDN'T HAVE SAID IT BETTER. You're absolutely right! But kdramas are now missing ALL of this.

well i think this is because romance is very restrictive, but if you talk about love hell yes suddenly your scope…
"real life, chemistry need not be always sizzling or butterfly-ish" - - I guess it depends on whether you looking for a drama that reconfirms reality or you're looking to dramas as a way to escape reality.

What Happens to My Family was a really good drama and this one is from the past. With the new family dramas, it's ALSO hard to come across chemistry in a non-romantic way either.

I think there are two possible reasons why, at least this applies to me:1. The novelty has worn off. I think with…
I love reading romance novels too but mostly Young Adult. Ended up in a 2 year slump and stopped reading. But now that I've tried out different books, I seem to love reading again.
And you have a great point about Netflix. I wonder if that is what's pushing them to change their format. Great points!

Honestly, this is how I began to feel about popular TV shows. And I mean great TV shows, like Breaking Bad, GoT...…
I had stopped watching them after I had found Kdramas. I could relate way more to those than the American ones.

I agree. Waikiki was the only drama I have loved in a while. Season 2 was blah. Everything else I have either…
I haven't tried the second season yet but honestly the first one was just hilarious. Wish they had brought all the original members back instead. Too bad, it could have been great.

GDI! i feel like we new each others for years after reading. i've took a break of Kdramas cause all those feelings…
You're right. The more you think about a slump, the worse it gets. I've also felt very guilty when I couldn't finish a drama and that is one of the reasons why I stopped updating my list here.
