Ah, I'm not sure if there will be a second season. I mean, the ending was open but I still think it's perfect. I just saw that the original version has 2 seasons? So maybe they will make a 2nd season of the korean remake too, but who knows...

what makes this drama special is the character development. i understand why you dropped it, when i was watching the first episodes i wanted to kill most of the characters especially the second male lead. but trust me, after the 8th episode everything is waaay different and waaay better. the doctors who treated the main lead badly start to act like human beings and i ended up loving them all in the end. especially doctor kim. the character development is really worth all the pain in the first episodes. i'm saying this not because i want to change your decision about dropping this drama, but i still feel like you dropped it too early.

overrated? it doesn't even have than many watchers and it's not really popular, it has high ratings because it deserves them. the first episodes are not that good but it gets really thrilling with the time. i guess these kind of dark-themed dramas are not for eveyone tho
