Getting ready to watch history being written. (Aside from Haein's and Hyo Seop's dramas, everyone else seems to be top-tier in terms of production; what a crazy lineup!)
ngl I really need him to end up back with his ex wife. If I were him, I would’ve 😭 She’s way too adorable,…
The worst part is that the journalist is also nice; I feel it would make more sense for him to stay with his wife, but it's impossible to imagine what's going through his head since he keeps her around by playing this game of ignoring her. (using the spell against the sorceress)
I think it’s because people don’t want to be reminded that what they are doing is unhealthy. If there’s…
I noticed this when I was younger, in people's eyes, when I said I didn't drink soda. Imagine offering them alcohol and having to remind them of what is supposedly obvious. I think your idea explains everything.
I don't understand that though, why do you have to drink or do certain things for people to invite you to do stuff?…
It's cultural, like in those scenes where they serve alcohol to each other and the glass overflows, or the person refuses. It might be my interpretation, but I think people really take it as "I don't want to be in your company" and don't understand that there are people who simply don't enjoy doing that, so they cut them out of their circles. (I think that's an exaggeration, but as someone who doesn't drink, I can understand; it's mutual. You don't distance yourself intentionally, but those environments simply don't interest you.)
I think that will only happen in the first week, but I have to say: how I love it when a good K-drama starts with long episodes, I'm so happy just looking at the length of the episodes 🤪😝
And here I was thinking this show would be just another cliché to entertain me on the weekend, but we're witnessing what could be a classic of the genre. I can't believe how much this first episode surprised me!
When it comes to communication, and developing that in a romance, only those who truly don't pay attention get it wrong; what a waste. (Beautiful drama to watch, btw)
7.7? That bad? I had high hopes for this. Should I even bother watching this? This was going to be my weekend…
Hi, I watched a few episodes in the afternoon and evening (I think it's unlikely that everyone else has finished it yet). Based on my experience with the 8 episodes I've seen, it's worth a try, but knowing that the story changes completely 3 times – the initial idea is one thing, then shifts to a secondary one with the travels, and then completely changes with the protagonist's condition – keeping that in mind, I think it's watchable, and if you don't hate love triangles, it's easier.
Well not sure if this one is for me or not. I guess I did not read the synopsis closely or watch any trailers…
What's worse is that if the K-drama had followed your perspective, it would have been sensational. They wasted an idea that would have fit perfectly in that genre. I hope that one day they'll do a reverse version, with an idol and a translator, but in the style you were hoping for.
HOW IS IT SO FAR GUYS? I’LL WATCH IT AFTER THE FIRST EP RELEASE OF NO TAIL TO TELL
I'm predicting that the beginning of No Tail will be better than this one, but that's okay. By the metrics, this is the kind of K-drama that wins you over as you watch it, while No Tail should make it pretty clear if it's not for you; these usually decline in the final episodes.
I lowered my expectations; the editing of this episode was a bit questionable. The way certain events are being constructed makes me wonder if the series will continue with the remaining nine episodes full of misunderstandings. I'm still enjoying it, but I still think that because it's focusing so much on the male and female protagonists, the other young couple feels "empty"—there's a lack of narrative support in their rivalry at school. Regarding the new character, I also felt the series was rushing his development with the protagonist, but overall my main problem was the editing itself. I hope it's not another drama for Joo Bin, who suffers from this; last year it was hard to endure "Divorce Insurance" for that reason.
