I am at episode 14 & I think I understand what's going on now. I am REALLY enjoying this! I like both of the main leads, especially the Male Lead. His range as an actor is fantastic! He is so emotive in emotional scenes & superb in action scenes and the BEST kisser!! LOVE him. I know this series is going to be bitter sweet but I am still loving it!

This had massive potential. Aesthetics wise it was beautiful. The storyline was interesting but it was not backed up by strong acting. It just felt flat even though I loved all the characters. Also average acting leads to less than average chemistry. As a mini drama with adult actors the chemistry should be scorching!! I do think these actors have potential & I do like them but the series was just boring. If you're looking for this on WeTV it's under a completely different name it's called Forbidden Love Between.
So this does have a happy ending!! But the storyline is executed poorly in the 2nd half. This is only worth it for the male lead who is fantastic! There are some great kisses & sweet moments. Honestly the male lead carried this all the way. In the last 10 episodes there really isn't anything good except for him. -- I need more drama with this actor!!!
Mini Royalty was made here with Dai Gaozheng & Chen Fangtong. These two have undeniable chemistry!! Also including Forever Love they really are the mini drama golden couple.
I first saw My Lethal Man when it came out in 2023. FZX was virtually an unknown actor. I had no clue who he was but I liked the trailer and I love thrillers combined with romance. My jaw dropped wide open at the end of the first episode. I couldn't believe how good the lead actor was & he looked AMAZING in those gorgeous three piece tailored suits. The series was dark and mysterious it was put together so well. FZX is a fiery red flag in My Lethal Man and it just suits him to a tee!! He is great in anything he acts in but I don't think anything has surpassed MLM just yet. The FL matched him really well & their chemistry hasn't been surpassed either. Hopefully they can work together again in the future.
I was absolutely LOVING this!! I thought it was funny, sweet, cute & sexy but then I realise. Our main leads are not strangers who meet and go on an adventure but she's his ex and he decides to crash her wedding and take her away because he realises he is dying - proceeds to ruin her life too when she could have moved on. Now I don't want to watch anymore.
I loved this series at the beginning! It was fiery, sexy & fun! The leads had fantastic chemistry. I was really interested to see how the revenge storyline would pan out too....but I am now at episode 19 & things have just descended into madness! The passion is gone & 'the revenge of Begonia' still hasn't come into play!! (with only a few episodes left!) -- It is just constant abuse of our female lead without anything ever being resolved. This gets tiring very quickly. At the moment I am struggling to finish because I just don't care about any of these characters anymore and the plot has become nonsensical. I LOVE Yan Zi Xian! He is one of my FAVOURITE mini actors but this series is probably my least favourite. The second act really took away how great this was in the beginning.
This was very sweet! The main couple had great chemistry. I love Yang Ze! He is always good!! This had a great ending! It even made me bump up the rating!
Agreed! It had one of the best kisses I have ever seen. I think both actors ML & FL are very good at this & that's why they have some of the best kisses. They are both very passionate & gave it 100%. Usually in cdrama it's the male leads who are usually giving the lip service. In this series both actors went to town! 😍
My heart aches to drop this @ ep.19 because I LOVE DGZ!!!!!!! & the FL was great too but I couldn't stand the storyline. Especially when the other twin popped up -- it just became annoying. I do understand mini dramas operate in a different way but even knowing that I couldn't finish it. I feel like DGZ needs a new role. He is the mini King (and he is fabulous!) but I would like to see him step outside the tortured, masculine CEO roles. Maybe ever a noona romance? He is great with anyone he pairs with. I especially LOVED him in Forever Love.....yeah, anyway I may come back to this series later but atm I just couldn't finish it. 😭

The ML did not deserve to get hit by a car and end up in a coma for 1 year. The FL did not deserve to be forgotten by her fiancè. She had taken care of him for a year only to have him wake up with amnesia. What a shitty way to end a really good drama!! This is definitely flawed but it's so much fun to watch!! This requires no brain cells whatsoever! I actually dropped this initially (at first) & then came back to it. I am halfway through episode 11 atm and I am LOVING IT! I love modern day drama as much as costume drama. Mini-dramas are always fun because their censorship is not as strict as the regular stuff. There is something I saw in episode 11 I want to mention but will add a spoiler tag to it in the above comment. If you want something fun, breezy, easy & modern give this a go - but fair warning, this is NOT work friendly! 🤭
