However this ends I honestly believe Liu Xueyi & Wu Jinyan had some of the best kissing scenes in Cdrama! I just watched a bunch of bts and MAN did they go for it!! I loved their chemistry & just pure intensity! It was so worth it!! I would love to see them in a modern drama together! (once Wu Jinyan comes back!) ❤

It may be among cdrama fans but it's not up there with the most watched just yet. If it gets picked up by Netflix then you're reaching a much wider audience outside of your fans-bracket, like - Kill Me Love Me, The Double & Princess Royal.

Most definitely!! I waited so long for Fangs of Fortune and I thought it was just me! I thought maybe I just had high expectations but a few people are now saying the same thing. It's a HOT mess and I emphasize the word HOT!! Because aesthetically everything is beautiful. The set design, the cinematography & actors are just gorgeous! And you're so right it is like a very expensive ad for a modelling agency. With the close-ups & the slow mo & the never ending talking it's like they shot specific things that will trend on social media for hype and decided to tag on a storyline & plot as an after thought. I do love some of the actors here (Neo Hou, TJR, Cheng Li, Zuo Ye) if directed well they can be superb but atm they are just being used as traffic idols to bumb up ratings. I will still keep watching I don't want to drop this but it's a little hard to hide my disappointment. This is my personal opinion only. I know some people love this and I am happy for them!!

It reminds me so much of the things that really started to irritate audiences in MJTY - overuse of slow phase, repetitive jarring background music, incessant crying. If they just did this in moderation with better timing it would enhance the show.

Oh, I am so sorry but I couldn't disagree with you more!! I think he is a fantastic 2ML. He's just adorable and in Ep.7 I would say heroic. He's a good guy. Definitely cheeky & privileged for sure but for me that doesn't take away his charm. As you said earlier maybe it is an acquired taste 😊. I just finished episode 7 & I am loving everything about this series!

He is impossible not to like! Especially in episode 7 when he saves that poor girl from being a ghost bride. He compliments the ML so well!!
