It's called Demon Hunter's Romance. The word romance is in the title. Don't get me wrong I love both of these actors and the series itself but it's fair for people to expect romance and for the romance to be significant when the genre itself is actually mentioned in the title.
I am only up to episode 5 and I absolutely love this series but I am worried about the romance aspect. I mean the word romance is in the title -- The Demon Hunter's Romance and Ren Jialun is not the ML you would pick for a romantic scene. This is not to say he is not good at them but just to state the plain fact he doesn't do them and then he usually ends up dying at the end of the series 😔......please Ren surprise me this time around, surprise all of us! 😊🤞💋 xo
OMG, I just finished Heart Of Stone and this popped up! I am also watching Seized Destiny as well with Chen Fang Tong too. I am definitely getting my DaiChen fix this year!! I do like this FL in this series. She was awesome in My Lethal Man!
Yan Zi Xian is such a talented actor!! Incredibly versatile. He can play anything. I have seen him in many roles and he is fantastic in all of them! He was so brave to play a character like this!! I think many actors would not do it but Yan Zi Xian gave it his ALL!! This series was about obsessive, toxic, love and the acting was phenomenal! it deserves a MUCH HIGHER rating than this!!!
It took me a while before I could enjoy this. When I watched this the first time around the series started with Mu Qingge's reincarnation. I unfortunately dropped it within 2 episodes because I found it too confusing and convoluted. When I came back to try this for a 2nd time I was confused again with the first episode because this was not what I remembered the first time I watched! Now I understand the episodes had been reordered so we get Mu Qingge's backstory before she reincarnates in episode 6. Now I am halfway through episode 6 and LOVING it. I get what's going on now -- 18 years later in the storyline. 😊
Oh, I didn't realise that about this director!! Hot scenes would be such a great addition to this series!! I will cross my toes as well as my fingers and hopefully they'll get down to business! 😇
Yes, this surprised me!! I just love the look of it. I just clicked onto it because it was new and I really liked the summary (also I love Song Zu Er). I was captured from the beginning. Great opening sequence & it was easy to follow. It's early days yet but it looks like a lot of fun...... I do like Allen Ren but I also want my adults to be adults.. 😊 🤞
Watching the Glory at the moment and absolutely LOVING it!! I was never really a fan of Chen Du Ling's acting in the past but she NAILS it in this role. I LOVE her in this!! Now this next comment may be a bit controversial but I find Fu Yun Xi a bit subpar. I like the actor but his character is not as great as the comments promised him to be. I guess I was looking for another Duke Su or if I was very lucky another Murong Jinghe. Wang Xingyue & Liu Xueyi made their characters leap off the screen. They were larger than life and absolutely enthralling (I am still dreaming about Liu Xueyi!)...... I am only up to episode 10 so that could change. Everything else is fantastic. The First Madam is also great. Storyline and plot execution is fantastic. Looking forward to seeing more!
I am really enjoying this!! It's a hidden gem. I wanted to see a series with Gong Jun because I really miss him and his new stuff hasn't come out yet so I started this a few days ago. I am only halfway through episode two but it's so good. I love the mystery element and the psychological stuff with relationships, attachment and obsession. It's so interesting. Then there is the crime solving and our main leads. I think they have really nice chemistry and their interactions are very sweet & funny.
