Ok, I just finished the 1st episode of Weak Hero and that was AMAZING!! Yes, it's a lot darker. It tends to rack up the tension a lot more and the ending to Ep.1 🤯🤯. I love it. I can see the difference. Study Group has the comedy aspect whereas Weak Hero is a lot more tense and darker but they both execute their storylines so well. Just really good pacing. I am excited to see more! I believe Study Group is also based off a webtoon too. :))

I don't think he grabs anyone's throat in Warm Time With You. 😇

I remember an interview with Dai Gao Zheng and Chen Fang Tong and Chen said during the filming of Maid's Revenge she had bruises all over her arms because Dai was scripted to grab her regularly due to his character's forceful nature. Dai apologised for hurting her and she told him not to worry about it and just explained as an actress it's a part of her job. He does grab Jin Zi Xuan a lot in this series too. It doesn't bother me too much but it doesn't necessarily mean I agree with it either. It would be nice to see Dai in a more gentle role but that's not to say I am not enjoying this series. I love both these leads. They are very dedicated to their roles and the story is interesting.

Ep 2: I am only at the beginning and 5 minutes into the second episode and I am so glad she slapped him! Shen Jiahe and her father really are a piece of crap! I know I don't know the full story atm but these two men made me so angry with the way they treated the FL! Keeping her completely in the dark and treating her like an ignorant child. Also her ex-friend truly is a piece of SH!+!!! grrrrrrrhhh!!!!! 😤😠

Now I am excited to watch it! Before I thought Weak Hero may just be the same but it sounds different. I honestly hope it's better just for the experience sake but I am sure I'll be able to appreciate both :)

Wow! Your opinion is so interesting because I have seen Study Group and it's one of the BEST kdramas I have seen in a while. I loved it. I still haven't seen Weak Hero as yet and was wondering which one might be better.

I am LOVING this!! Dai is really matched well here! I adore this actress. She's adorable and sexy at the same time. She's very emotive too just like Chen Fang Tong. It matches Dai Gao Zheng to a tee being a very passionate and emotive actor himself. I have never seen the Thai version of this series (lots of ppl have mentioned this in the comments) but I am really liking this so far. It may end up being one of my Dai-favourites (outside of the 3 DaiChen series).

Yes, you're right! Good pick up! It's 24eps but runs 45mins each so screen time is longer! I didn't even realise. I don't think I have ever seen that one :)
