However, please do not presume someone else real life story over a drama and opinion of characters on said drama. We all see different things when watching these dramas.
After watching ep 14, I feel more sorry for KYG. At the end of ep 13 I thought he lost me. I don't like violent people, however, I understood the anger. Imagine, if you will, giving your whole self to someone and then find out they were only using you. The betrayal would be overwhelming. KYG did not have affairs, he did not interfere with his wife, and he did not hurt other people. He lived to gain his father's company (to show his capabilities), honor his mother (avenge her by taking the company), and love his daughter (more than HSR). He did not flaunt his money, he did not care or love his wife, he did not like her family, nor did he care how his own family treated him. He did want his father's approval (which he never received even though he was more capable than his older brother), he did want real love, which he thought he had finally found with LRE. But, oh the betrayal!!
LRE's revenge is consuming her and it is destroying the only man she ever loved. SEP's love cannot be anything but brotherly love. She was not attracted to him like she was to KYG. And even though KYG was a target, she grew to see the man he was but outside forces kept showing her the others surrounding him and grouping him with them.
I believe KYG will die at the end of the show because of what SEP said to him ... that his love is sacrifice. KYG's love is sacrifice as well as ep 14 and the preview showed. I would like to see KYG and LRE together at the end. I believe the writer showed us just how much KYG and LRE understood each other and understanding of each other's pain without knowing all.

I fully understand where you are coming from. But in order to become a mother, you must first be a daughter. Both characters are flawed. CSS should have talked to her parents first and not expose the deeds of others by trickery or treachery. Learning to survive is instinctual, but after not seeing or meeting her parents for so many years, she should have taken a moment to learn who they are and how they came to the decisions that they did. The same applies to XYY. Again, all flawed.
CSS had affection, even if it was from her maid. May not have been parental affection but affection all the same.
I do not agree with XYY methods but I understand the motive. "My parents don't respect me" is always said by unruly kids. But what about the unruly kids respecting their parents. When does that come into play? It is not easy being a parent. It is definitely not easy being a mother. The mother is always blamed for the actions of their kid, whether good or bad.
I think the writer has lacked in showing how XYY has come to be the person she is. I hope the writer shows just how hard it is to instill knowledge to an adult person (because CSS is considered an adult because she is of marrying age). I also hope that there will be some understanding between XYY and CSS by the end of season 1.
But at what point do you stop blaming your parents for your actions?

But CSS is stubborn, willful, destructive, and plain ol' selfish. She was stubborn, willful and selfish before XYY came on the scene. XYY is being challenged by CSS. And when you are challenged, you up your game to see who will come out on top. CSS caused harm to others and didn't expect any consequences and even if she did expect the consequences, it was like I'm going to do it anyway. She blamed others when it was herself that caused the issue. XYY sees the long road ahead for CSS and only wants what's best for CSS. XYY is not showing it but she cares for CSS.
Now, granted, XYY went to far in Ep 10 but I understood. CSS was challenging her to show XYY that she will do whatever it takes to show XYY that she can take whatever is dished out. XYY cannot have her own daughter question her authority especially when she commands men.
XYY is hurting because no matter what she does, CSS is not going to see the way the world really is. Sometimes you have to let your child go so they can learn.
CSS will not learn anything until something really bad from her actions happens. (I could be wrong... but I believe something bad will happen). CSS wants to marry a man that will allow her to get away with anything and not have any consequences hence the two SMLs.
I look forward to the lessons that CSS will learn.

I am enjoying the SML (Sung Wook) so far. They have not made him the typical SML that throws tantrums when he doesn't get his way. He is not cruel just to win the SFL's heart, he is just patiently waiting. Of course, we have the second half to go. But so far, so good. I don't like SJ, she deserves to be unhappy and have karma bite her in the bottom. I know that she is going to end up with SW but I just don't want that to happen. How understanding will SW be when the birth secret comes out? We know him mama won't be.
In the future I bet that once DH and CY are happy -- that's when the accident and death of the brother will come out. :( Let's hope we won't have too many episodes of angst.
