The dynamics of the three sons' relationships is getting better as each of the men realize their feelings. My favorite, of course, is HJ/MR, because it has a more natural feel. My second is SJ/YN because they are young and so naive about everything. YJ/HJ are my least favorite because they are too old to play games. It would have been better if she acted as an independent career woman of means than an immature teenager.
I don't care about the other side stories. I feel like they take up too much time. I know MR's mom is necessary for the angst that is sure to come when the birth secret comes out but otherwise I can do without their plots. Especially the cousins/sister of grandpa.

I have apparently been watching a different show because I did not see anything hopeful about this show. Even in your daily life, you have something to smile about, something that makes you smile. This entire drama there were no small smiles, there were no hopefulness. My sister and I both agree as we watched the drama. It was depressing. I work daily, I commute daily, I strive daily and daily there is something small to make me smile even if for a moment. I got none of that until the car episode.
The females in this drama made me nuts with the ever present sad looks. The parents were sad as well. No one should live life that depressed.

This has been the most depressing show I have ever watched. I watched all the episodes hoping that somebody would smile and .... only one person did. The best episode was when Gu made Chang Hee happy with the car. Otherwise, depressing :(
Well, I can say I made it to the end. Never liked the FL or SFL. Loved the men, hated they never got the loves they wanted. They didn't even give MWY a love story. YZJ had to pine over the sister (should have given him another woman). And then they die! WTF!!! I'm glad that SFL and SML died, they got on my nerves.
I really loved this drama but did not like the ending. I did not think that HC should have become the emperor at the end. Why did BLX have to give it up? Why couldn't FXY stand by him? No baby at the end...WHY?!!! And to kill Han Pu off! The travesty of it all.
I'm glad that YWY was killed at the end but just because HC was manipulated, he is forgiven? HC still did a lot of wrong with full knowledge. I really don't like it when a drama ends with the man giving up his entire life just for the woman. But that's just me.
Even though SPY announced her pregnancy first, I am so happy that LSE and SB are pregnant too!!!! I hope the kids will be happy for their respective parents. I also hope the kids help get rid of the maids!!! The meanest one probably killed off SDM's mom (just a theory based on her comments).
Lee Min Ho was outstanding in Ep 7! It was a powerful episode which included Hansu's backstory! But the most powerful story to me was the prejudices against the Korean people. I felt the angst Hansu had watching his own people being persecuted and killed for nothing other than being a different race/nationality!
OMG! I really hope that SB and LSE get married next week!! I also hope LSE have a late life baby. Wouldn't that be great if she was to get pregnant after getting remaried?! It will also solidify her standing as the eldest daughter-in-law. It will also show the crazy ex that you can't keep a good woman down. I also hope that SPY and SDM get married. And, I really like the fact that SB and SDM father is liking his new family!! But I want LSE to have baby first. :) As for the ghost stuff, yeah, I'm ready for that to take a backseat ... like all the way back to nonexisting! I really don't care about BHR and PSH story because of the ghost aspect. But let's hope for great weddings and babies!!!!!
I have enjoyed this drama. I LOVE LEE MIN HO! But this character is a departure from what we usually see from him. Which I am happy to see. I really hope we get more screen time with Ko Hansu. Oh, if there is a second season, I hope LMH is in it.
Okay, I just finished this drama. The main couple was interesting in the beginning but then stalled out. The other two couples were more interesting. But I would not have invested my time if I knew it was going to be so boring. The BFF dying was sad .
Did anyone else tear up watching Ep 33? I had tears running down my face when they parted. The longing in Xu Feng Nian's eyes were just so powerful to me. I really hope for a happy ending. Please....
When will Hae Ran find out that Seon Hwa/Sharon is her daughter?!!!!! I need it to happen sooner rather than later and then maybe she can help with the revenge. But on the sad not, Jae Min will find out that Hae Ran is either not his momma or that Sharon is his sister! :(
The scene with ZL making the robe for DH was very intimate! You could feel her love for him. The movement and the music made it such a lovely scene! Everyone is all about FH and FJM but there has not been such a beautiful scene between them. But this is just my opinion.
