let me piggyback on this article to inform people (because for some reason lots of people still don't know even though it's 2019 and not the dark ages...) sites like kissasian, dramacool blablabla DON'T MAKE SUBS. they steal them from the aforementioned people and everywhere else, slap on their own credits, and put them on ads-infested sites and they earn revenue of over $$$$$$/year. [that's why when they get slammed with lawsuits, they can pay the million-dollar fines.] these fansubbers? they get no money or only as little as people are willing to tip them for the literal hours of work they put into subbing.
my dudes, i'm not gonna judge where you watch your dramas cus accessibility can be an issue, but just wanna make sure people know where the subs are really coming from. AND: if you want things to be subbed, your best bet is to actually seek out through the powers of the internet the humans that are actually translating dramas and reach out to them personally to ask. requesting on those shady sites = requesting them to steal from these people. which they will.
the site doesnt work. does anyone know where to watch it subbed?
technically you didn't haha~ anyways, i'm listing it for people looking for raws since the original vid i linked is gone. but hey, since it's subbed in viet i'm sure eng subs will pop up soon since i know there are quite a few viet-eng cdrama subbers out there. :) x
my robot didnt air.. a repeat of running man again.
They keep repeating RM because they've still been trying to get NEF to air. They didn't want to air any new show until they had no other choice, so RM was a filler for the slot. But I think they've hit their last resort now.
The title of this reminds me of GHJ's drama from years ago The Greatest Love where Cha Seung-won's char told her some story about camellias blooming & there was that hilarious fantasy sageuk scene
YES YES YES I'm so glad you made this article!! I was hoping someone would :D This drama made me see Alyssia Chia's acting in a whole new light. This story is great for people who liked Jdramas such as "Soredemo Ikite Yu" and "Aishiteru".
People, there are so many great Taiwanese shows out there and unlike Chinese dramas, they are short! I think many people's impression of Taiwanese TV are the classic romcoms that are mostly Japanese adaptations, or the really classic TVB wuxia series. But there are lots of great recent Taiwanese dramas with excellent production quality and serious, mature storylines!
Also recommend "On Children" for Black Mirror fans (only 5 eps), "A Touch of Green" for Battle of Changsha fans~ and for people who don't need subs, "Falling" and "The Story of Time" are pretty great too.
Episode 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxRafNmVaWI I think this drama's eps are 30min, not 45min. Unless each episode got 15min cut lol. Which honestly wouldn't surprise me
