a drama where I wanna punch most of the characters, mainly their seniors and superiors. Totally worth the watch. Not for people who cannot stand slow paced drama tho.
aite guys. I need recommendations of dramas like this where the lead couple don't fight or only have minor fights and are understanding towards each other. I need a break from plots that involve crappy issues that lead to breakups such as misunderstandings due to the evil third person, any secrets kept or any other plot that makes me wanna kill the writer.
For now, these are the dramas that the leads have none or have limited fights but they only take a little bit of the screentime but still have interesting plot:
Chinese: 1. Love O2O 2. Love lost in time (historical) 3. Go Go Squid 4. Intense love
Korean: 1. Her private life 2. Oh My Venus 3. What's wrong with secretary Kim.
Gosh. Gonna go against the popular opinions again by saying this drama was kinda disappointing for me plotwise. I can give 10/10 on acting since they did well, especially the main leads. Their chemistry was over the chart!! But the plot... Urgh. Here are my issues with the plot. 1. Too many conflicts but all are just on the surface. I would love it if aside from the forced marriage issue, they just focus on the conflict with Pondayt and Yada. Adding the kidney disease is just an overkill. Can't they just make her fall into a coma for taking a bullet for him? although it's cliche and expected, but it goes well with the flow of the drama instead of adding a new disease near to the end. 2. Muey forgave Thien sooooo easily. I just wanna watch the suffering and pain from Thien's part when he lost Muey. That gut wrentching scene where Muey is not there anymore when he realised how important she is in his life and how much she has sacrificed for him. Like in the Taiwanese version of Fated to You. Now THAT is agony. It's just too short here in this drama. I need moreeee! 3. Thien discovered Muey loved him too early IMHO. Can't they make it after she has left? That would add more to the agony that Thien should feel when losing Muey. 4. Suddenly adding Thien liked Muey too during their high school years? Hmmm. I dunno. It feels too abrupt.
Don't take me wrong. This is a very good drama with good acting byt the actors. I just wish something more from the plot. Of course this is my personal opinion and preference. I still had a big smile while watching this drama nevertheless.
I loooove it! Kudos to Zhang Yu Xi for managing to portray the character without making her being too annoying and childish. I enjoyed my time watching this thoroughly.
For me, Hua Jai Sila is the only one that can match the superb acting and plot of this drama. However, it's too heavy as it revolves around revenge. But if you like that sorta theme, then it is a must watch.
Other lakorns that I've watched are not even at the level of Bppop Phaen Saniwat and Hua Jai Sila (of course this is my personal opinion. Others may think differently). But they are still entertaining and have good plot and acting. Here are my recommendations:
1. Jao Sao Jum Yorm 2. Kleun Cheewit 3. Sampatan Hua Jai 4. The Crown Princess 5. Kao Waan Hai Noo Pen Sai Lub
Underrated! This drama has good essense about a woman who is struggling in the men's world. You don't need a man in a shining armour when you are a badass female warrior yourself! If you like a strong female lead, then watch this! and no. The ML did not clip her wings. He let her soar!
The theme of this drama is sexy and seductive. It got the Fifty Shades vibe. (Minus all those bondage) Rich, dark and possesive hero (very smut like). Innocent and naive heroine. Lotsa kissing. So if you are not into it, this is not your cup of tea. For those who like this sorta theme, then this drama is for you. It all boils down to your preference.
For me, it's too short. I need more character and plot development to see how they fell in love. Other than that, not bad for a JDrama.
I'm three episodes in and I just can't understand how they can forgive Jia Yi just like that. I'm annoyed.
Aite. I've done binge watching. I like the acting and the plot. But THREE things annoy me to the bone!
First, Jia Yi. Urgh. How selfish can you be? and you expect your friends to understand after you stepped on them because you wanna chase your dream and want to be famous? And what annoy me more was how Nuan Nuan and Han Xue can forgive her just like that. I mean, seriously?
Second, I don't like Nuannuan's character development. She deserve more tha just being an outfit manager (is that the correct term? I'm too lazy to google) for a production after all she had gone through in the Designer Team. Plus, she's too nice and naive. Totally opposite from her character in the first few episodes.
Thirdly, Han Che's illness. I dunno. I just feel it's too rushed. I mean, they just throw it in there without proper excution. Suddenly he's sick. Suddenly he's being operated. Suddenly he's having memory lost. Then tadaaa! He's cured. Like, What??? I know he's having problem about his memory from the start. but the seriousness of it is just too sudden. Did I miss something?
But I love the chemistry of the leads. Yep. Swoon worthy. Plus the acting was superbly done. Well done! Even the plot is good. I would say, it's binge worthy.
Highly recommended. When you read the synopsis you would feel that the plot is cliche. However, you would be throroughly entertained by the brilliant acting, comedy as well as execution of the story. This is a good drama if you want to unwind. No unnecessary conflict or dumb misunderstanding. Totally worth your time.
The premise of this story is similar with Skate into Love. Thus, if I were to compare, I would say:
1. I like the FL Skate into Love(SIL) better than The Best of You in My Mind (TBOYIMM). Been a fan of her since I watch My Sunshine. 2. I like the ML here better than the lead in SIL. Gala's voice is just soothing for my ear and Xu Fang character is just amazing. 3. Plot wise, I like TBOYIMM more. SIL is too draggy. 4. SIL's sport theme was portrayed better than in TBOYIMM . 5. Both have the same level of FL-ML chemistry, in my opinion. But since I believe that plot contributes to the chemistry that audience feel, I like the chemistry in TBOYIMM more. 6. I like the side characters in TBOYIMM more, altho their characters were not portrayed in depth.
In all, I would go against the popular opinion by saying TBOYIMM is better than SIL. Of course, this is my personal opinion and preference. =)
saw some clips in youtube about this drama. from the clips it does not look that there are a lot of swoon worthy moment. is that true? or there are but very limited? Swoon worthy doesn't have to be about kissing. I mean sweet moments between the leads that shows good chemistry. is there any?
Totally worth the watch.
