finished this! the beginning is kind of corny and campy. definitely meant for a younger audience. But once you get through the first half it starts picking up and gets interesting.

I heard the screenwriter is supposedly writing the book that she also adapted into the screen play, except without the censorship. I've looked everywhere but I can't find it so if you or someone else has better luck please let me know. Otherwise, there isn't an english translation yet because I don't think the book is finished?
Such a fast paced storyline. I'm only on episode 18 and every episode has had something. They don't waste any time. I love love love the characters. The leads are perfect!!!!
watched the drama after reading the comments. I don't get why people didn't like ML or thought he wasn't treating FL right. In every situation, he literally tried his best to save her and protect her. Probably should have been more honest with her but then the same could be said for her to him. Anyway, great show!! ZLS and WAY are great together and have adorable chemistry.
around the mid twenty episodes i got bored and skipped around but was still invested (really the whole plot where she was helping the investigation outside the palace). Other than that, a very gripping drama! Highly recommend!

based on his reaction to Sayon, I'm pretty sure the ex was super toxic and kept threatening to kill herself if he left her and finally he got tired of the threats and just left, calling her bluff, but that time she really killed herself (or disappeared). Idk, but that's what it feels like is happening.
I love these kinds of characters for Cha Eun Woo. I think he's so much better as someone playful and happy than a tsundere who's cold and isolated. This character was full of charm and I missed these roles for him. Hope he gets to do more of them in the future.
Reading some of the comments here, everyone is super harsh on the newbie. Yoo In Soo is an amazing actor so I hope everyone remembers that before harassing him. It's fine if you don't like a character, but the actor is separate. And personally, I think the character is a work in progress. He will likely improve throughout the season.
