Boze is my final evil boss because what do you mean they knew that the kids were switched at birth, but still didn't switch the kids back immediately because the parents didn't want to lose Boze, leaving Qingyi stuck in an abusive household even longer, at which point his adoptive father almost murdered him.

And his adoptive family hated him while his biological family (with the exception of Qingyu) hated him while loving Boze more.

And Boze has a literal framed photo of the Murong family with Qingyi cropped out.

And now Boze is literally stealing his child from him too. Knowing that SuSu is pregant with Qingyi's son, he should have told Qingyi immediately, but instead spends the next 6 years acting as if he's the boy's father.

IGAF about any reason he may have. This is straight up evil behavior. The willful ignorance about the abuse Qingyi went through with the Li family, or the condesencion about the Murong family should have been a clue.

Screw that and screw him. Officially on the hate train for Boze

a lot of it is trolls. some is preconceived notions coming into the drama, people were expecting something slower or more serious while this is a melo. and some of it is a poor first impression with the ai intro (that has since been replaced) and some shoddy cgi (nothing worse than anything pre 2024 tbh, and there are definitely worse today).

Im sorry but the last scene of ep 23 where he sees her as he passes in the car while everyone around is waiving red flags is objectively hilarious. Can't get a clearer sign than that... and i am still hopeful for a HE.

1. the picture on his desk of the family without MRQY
2. he will not be telling MRQY about his child
3. he told RSS that he took MRQY to the hospital, but at the hospital, MRQY's secretary said he found him (alone) suggesting that LBZ lied and left MRQY there.

bit early in the guesses but close :D you'll get the flashback in ML and FL relationship in the next couple episodes. ML and FL started out as pen pals too so that was the ringing in his ears. Basically that she put the same move on his brother that she did to him (in his mind at least).

I don't think she needs to apologize for her vendetta or going after revenge. What she went through was horrible and traumatic. She has the right to seek justice and revenge. She's made herself clear that it is her priority. Pushing him away as a result is her choice and that's fine. If she was a man I think a lot of people would also expect the same and no one would think she's horrible. My problem is the lies. She's the one with all the information which she is withholding from him.
I also don't think she expects an apology from him because she is aware that she's withholding from him.
If the story takes the narrative direction of her accepting an apology from him without her acknowledging she is the one truly responsible for the end of their relationship then I'll have a problem with that.

The episode hasn't come out yet... but from the preview their relationship ends because he asks her if she was ever sincere about her feelings for him or if it was a lie, and she lies and says it was not sincere... so maybe I'm wrong and I'll wait for the episode to come out but it seems like he was still willing to be with her regardless because he loves her (not the healthiest relationship but they can work through it with communication)
but to the point about not using the child to hold onto him... where's his choice in that? so he loses years with his kid because she's insecure about their relationship?

What?! if she didn't tell him about the baby how is that fair to him. If she told him and he didn't believe her that's one thing, but if he never knew, he has absolutely no fault at all.
And make amends for what - she lied to him about the plan with his brother (which I completely understand but she still lied to him). If he knew that would be different, but he didn't know.
As far as he is aware, he is breaking up with someone who doesn't actually love him and he is no longer contacting her. He hasn't done anything wrong.

She told him she was pregnant and he didn't believe her? Or he didn't believe her about his brother's death? Because those are 2 different things and tbh the amount of lies and halftruths he's heard from her... it's unclear to me at this time why he needs to be forgiven (and I say this as a current supporter of their relationship - status pending next few episodes)

So I saw the preview from ep 25... and listen, I've been very very supportive of these two getting back together and having a happy ending. But I will say this, if she is actually pretending that his son is Li Boze's son, and that she's in a relationship with another one of his brothers... I will officially join the hate train.
That's my line. For both SuSu and Boze. They can get bent. I don't care what justifications there are.... nope. That's my line. You do not do that to a person. He already has self-worth issues, you cannot keep doing this to him. I've been super understanding. I've been onboard with all of SuSu's revenge and even understanding with how she priorizes it over MRQY. But this is the line. Not only because it hurts MRQY, but also because it hurts their son!

Lol it's not even pretty privilege for me. I am absolutely obsessed with how well the actors are doing and the complexity of their characters. I am rooting for both of them so much and hope they get the happy ending!!

if qing yi and boze were switched at birth, does that mean for half his life they went by each other's names? did these two kids lose their names when they realized they were switched?

big brother entering his villain era. giving RSS another obsession/revenge to separate her from his brother. At this point i half expect his next scenes to be like those cliche MILs, meeting her at a cafe and saying he'll give her $30k to stay away from his brother, and then slash water in her face.

genuinely, why are people still talking about the ai opening? first, it got replaced by ep 8. and second... have i been the only one who's skipped every cdrama opening for every show? I don't think I've watched more than 10 seconds of any opening from a drama in years...

just a random thing that i appreciate... this show doesn't give them infinite bullets. They do run out of bullets
